I'm a Mer/Der shipper, but I don't mind GIZZIE. I certainly know what the fans of that tv couple are going through as for the most part, M/D fans have gone througgh the people who are against them since the first episode, so you should be glad that you haven't endured as many seasons as we have at least

Gizzie is awful, and made me stop watching the show, as well as many, many others. LMAO at the Gizzie defenders.

First of all, Jay, how dare you make fun of people for their opinions? And if you stopped watching the show because of one story, then what kind of fan does thast make you? I will probably leave the show if Gizzie ends, but that will not be the only reason. that will be the cherry on top. In fact, I had thought of quitting the show WAY before I even thought of the possibility of George and Izzie. When I fell in love with those two, I was about t quit the show and they are what kept me going on. In fact, I have many, many friends who had quit the show and were brought back to it because of the George and Izzie amazing scenes I sent them by youtube. I wonder if Gizzie is so unpopular, why the ratings did not completely plummet and why they are pulling 50-50 in most of the polls that have been put out recently? I am sure most of the haters will accuse the fans of spamming, but the polls we have been winning are for the most part not spammable. As for you, Kate, thanks, that is

LOL, samantha, I feel the same way about alex and Izzie. hey were terrible together and brought out the absolute worst in each other. The betting on Denny dying, the shocking his heart thing and making him scream in pain while he had a huge smile on his face, Izzie making fun of him with george when eh couldn,t get him up, treating him like a sex toy and telling George she was using him to tame her sexual beast then dumping him for Denny? What was romantic and great in that? Oh, I get it, Alex was HAWT (well I don,t find him attractive at all, but seems he has a great body and little girls faint seeing him or something) and george supposedly is not (I'd date George any day but hey, that's me, I go more for sensitive guys with gorgeous eyes than guys with abs of steel thing). s forthe ritics, well their main source seem to be TWOP and ABC and since they hate Gizzie and they seem the cool kids in town, the critics are jumping on board and not bothering to go on other sites to see if

I will admit I was a BIG fan of the show. But last season's plot lines did not prove to be good prime time TV, instead it seemed like a soap opera with better actors. I just hope that the writers are taking into consideration what fans will have to say on Mer's sister and McDreamy having a connection or all that other needless drama. Not to mention it just is not tactful. And seriously, if Mer is a doctor and is soooo depressed then why isn't she getting help. The show does not even make a lot of sense anymore. The connections between the characters you have built over the last few years and the actions of those characters in last season did not fit. Just remember that Grey's Anatomy was awesome the first two seasons, so you have the talent. Don't try so hard. And what happened to some of the humor and lightheartedness of the show...I miss that a lot. The characters use to laugh and in turn made me laugh while still having some deeper meaning to the plot...I just hope you talen

TO Buddy TV: I've decided to stop watching Grey's. My brother got me to watch this show right after the ferry disaster aired. That was a bad time to start watching, because that's when the show went downhill. I did buy and watch Seasons 1 and 2, and loved the show. I loved the possibility of happiness and love between the two main characters, Meredith and Derick, as well as all the other characters. But watching this show has become emotionally draining. Shonda Rhimes, you burned it all to the ground, but I'm not healing. All summer I've been reading the message board posts and have seen nothing in the way of positive plot lines for the coming season. So I'm going to cut my losses now and not watch it anymore. And Shonda, not that I think you care, but I'll state it anyway: I'll never watch one of your T.V. series or movies again. Goodbye.

I like Gizzie. Better than MerDEr. At least I root for both George and Izzie. Mer has been small in my mind for a while. Addison, Christina, and Bailey are more intersting to me. Another reason to see Gizzie as a go is the fact that Jane doe is coming back. Why tie Alex into a possible relationship when all the alexie fans out there just "know" they will be back on. For me, if there is no Gizzie and especially if hey blow the whole thing off like this thing thing said, Ill find something eles. Theres always Private Practice to see Addison and college football Thursdays

I adore george and izzie and know many who do, so how exactly are they disastrous? If the show drops them, they can count one viewer less, no make that two as my boyfriend also watches mainly for them. And for the people who will undoubtedly ask why I watched before Gizzie? Well, the show used to be good, MerDer used not to be the boring soap cliché they are now. and yes, I watched mainly for George and Izzie even back then, for their amazing friendship, their relationship, platonic and romantic, has been the main reason why I watched since the beginning. But now there is no way I can buy them as just friends again. I think it is a shame some of the critics seem to think everyone hates those two, because I know so many people who love those two together and watch for them. And the ABC poll is showing 50% support for them after more than 20 000 votes, so much for them being hated by everyone!

I can take or leave Gizzie - TR/KH sell it in the scenes but I've always liked Callie - she is fun and not irritating like the now one-dimensional Izzie character. I hated the Jane Doe storyline and am not happy she's back. Nothing great between her and Alex. I wanted to see Alex and Addison have more than the easy way out the writers took. Pre-PP, she was the one who should have challenged "Alex's aversion to attachment".

So glad to read some of these posts because I thought Gizzie was over. I'm would never quit Grey's until several of the prime characters leave which is what went down with E.R. but this last season was mad crazy & Gizzie made it worth while. I saw that one coming for sure so I don't know why everyone was so shocked. If people didn't know George's personal life outside of the show I doubt it would be so shocking to hook him up with hot Izzie. He's an excellent actor and she's awesome too. Just hope they stick around for a while to keep mixing it up. I like Callie, but give her someone who loves her w/o her asking them to all of the time.. right?! Give her..say... one of the new interns. lol.
