All the hype about young celebrities involved in excessive partying, drug abuse, drunk driving and eating disorders are finally getting to Grey's Anatomy's Ellen Pompeo. In an interview with the Los Angeles Confidential Magazine, she discusses her sentiments on today's young Hollywood generation and her disappointment in the media.

In a thinly veiled reference to the coverage of Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and other starlets, the 37-year-old actress emphasizes the need for the media to set a good example.

Actually I've never worried about her weight. I'm more worried about the fact she's engaged to an ex-con. Yeah, that's definitely something young girls shouldn't look up to her for.

Everyone deserves a second chance in life. if no one will give it to you, how can anyone redeem themselves?? Ellen seems wonderful enough to trust in him and give him that chance, and he seems way past his bad experiences in the past.
She is an amazing person indeed.

Ok so its okay for Nicole Richie and Lindsey Lohan to get 4854515487 chances but not for her beau? She's a class act for sticking with him.....few people with enough class would stick with their partner for that long...I give her kudos for it...way to go ELLEN

I think Ellen Pompeo is very insparational and a lot of people look up to her including me.
