Grey's Anatomy had a rocky year. Be it the whole Isaiah Washington situation, and the subsequent media fallout, or the general fan disappointment for the direction the show took in the latter stages of the season, it wasn't a smooth ride in the 2006/2007 campaign. The show still had its moments, of course, that make it the massive hit that it is, but the general consensus is that Grey's Anatomy's third season was easily its worst. So, how would this effect its standing when it came to the Emmys? If you've taken a peek at the nominations, which were unveiled this morning, you'll see that there was zero backlash, and the show is being held in as high esteem as ever. Let's analyze Grey's Anatomy's major Emmy nominations and possible snubs: To read the rest, click here.

Katherine Heigle & TR Knight should be thanking Isaiah Washington about right now...cuz Sandra Oh would have probably been the only nominee in Supp. Actor/Actress Categories. I think it's terrible that Shonda's show got the nod but the 2 actors most people watch the show for, didn't. Shonda, write something plausible for these two great actors to sink their teeth into...you screwed w/them & us enough last season.

I think it's awful Ellen Pompeo didn't get nominated, or Patrick Dempsey. I think it has to do with what they did with Meredith & Derek. Or rather, what they didn't do. Aren't these the main characters? Get them together. I can't believe TR got a nomination. Seriously.

TR totally deserve that nom. He was incredibly all year long and broke my heart in the scenes where his dad died. Guess some people don't recognize great acting. Katherine Heigl is always extraordinary. Guess some IW's bitter fans are up and about, too bad.

I love Patrick, but he is a pretty bad actor. He is dreamy but that is about it. No range whatsoever. Ellen was great, so I am sad about her, but she had too tough a competition. I have a feeling the three actresses might cancel each other out, though they all deserved it. I think TR has good chances actually. He has been phenomenal all season 3. In fact, I think he has always been amazing. The guy can express so much without even saying a word, just with his eyes and body movement. Not too many people know the art of subtle acting, but he does, he has it hands down. Was about time he got a nom.

So glad about Sandra, TR, Katie and Chandra, they all rock and are my favorites on the show. Katie is definitely the IT girl these days. Sandra s always amazing, and so is Chandra, love Bailey. And TR is one of the most talented, real actor on TV.

TR put himself in the supporting actor nomination, which was probably a good move as the leading actor category is very difficult to get in as patrick found out. Ha, you actually believe what Isaah said about TR? Please! Patrick and TR are friends and were seen laughing and talking weeks after the incident. And in an interveiw in Scotland, Patrick said the people who were coming back were those who deserved to come back and he loved them all. Love the little insult he threw there at Isaah. TR is worth a million of Isaah any day. I'd say they are both excellent actors, but Isaah is an *ss while TR is all class. He could only dream of being in the same class as TR. Please! And TR is still the only male cast member to get a nomination, not too bad.
