Isaiah Washington Breaks his SilenceAfter former Grey's Anatomy star  Isaiah Washington responded to his contract being passed over, his initial response of "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore."  (culled from the Motion Picture "Network") seemed like a declaration of war.  Rumors spread rapidly that the Grey's Anatomy outcast was considering legal action against the network, a concept most level headed journalists considered hyperbole at the very least.  Washington finally broke his silence this week to Entertainment Weekly magazine opened up about where his head is at with the whole thing, and where he'll be going with it.

I THINK IS WAS WRONG FOR THEM TO FIRE ISAIAH. YES HE DID DO WRONG BY SAYING WHAT HE DID BUT HE HAS APOLOGIZED & IS STILL APOLOGIZING FOR IT. I WILL PROBABLY TUNE GREYS ANATOMY OUT.

They should not have fired Isaiah and they should bring him back, he paid his dues and should get to keep playing Dr. Burk because he is a beloved character.

They were wrong to fire Isaiah Washington. He apologized and did psa's - this was a double standard. I will not watch again!

I enjoyed watching Isaiah charateric on Greys Anatomy and feel they were wrong to fire him. My apologizes to T R Knight, but I don't enjoy watching him act and wished it was him leaving.
I have no interest in watching a show that doesn't care about its viewers and you will notice more and more viewers will tune out because of this.

abc is stupid for cutting dr. burke from the show. i thought he was the most respected, refined, classiest, and cultured character on the show. he wasn't slutty, annoying, or anything of that sort, as i sometimes found the other characters to be. grey's anatomy will not be the same without him, especially with addison leaving also. he will be very, very hard to replace.

maybe i'll start watching private practice...

The Burke-Cristina storyline is the main reason why I have been watching Grey's Anatomy religiously. I honestly do not know how I will feel once I start watching season four without Preston Burke in it. Grey's Anatomy will never be the same with this character gone. Isaiah Washington should have not been fired.
