LOLA: In response to your questions, nobody knew that George and Callie were going to start a family until AFTER she was made Chief Resident (she only told Izzie-in front of the girls-in the church. And I believe that the Chief may have it because he didn't want Bailey to make the same mistakes as him, yes...but more so because of the Denny incident. Even though it wasn't her fault directly, it created ALOT of problems for the hospital and many of the doctors were not comfortable with what happened (Remember the 1st show this season and the MINUTES meeting?)
I believe that Shonda may also be creating a bigger character for Callie this way as well. Hope I helped!

The finale left me wondering what the ****??? I thought Christina would end up married, but understand Burke leaving. Who wants to marry someone who constantly questioned if it was the right thing to do?
As far as Meredith & McDreamy....tired of it already. Put them together or leave them apart....really doesn't matter anymore. Just wish there was some type of resolution there.
Alex - I wish he would have gotten to the hospital in time to stop Ava/Rebecca. He is one who does deserve some type of happiness.
I can't stand Izzie and don't understand why anyone would want her with George. Look at all those months/years he was alone. She never once thought about him as more than a friend then...why now??? Just because he's married??? Give me a break. I like him with Callie. Callie is good for him.
I wish Bailey would have gotten chief. She really deserves it.
I feel bad for George failing his exam and don't understand how he failed when he had the sacred "Callie notes" at the beginn

Although I agree with everyone that the series IS heading downhill .. a depressing season finale is exactly what we got in season 2. Denny died, Izzie quit, Meredith was forced to make a choice between Derek and McVet.. Although it wasn't as devastating and seemingly hopeless as the season 3 finale.. it didn't exactly end on a happy note.

I'm going to tune in for the first few episodes of season 4 and see where they go. Hopefully, it improves pretty quickly.

I thought the season finale was quite good!! Fair enough nothing what so ever happy happened but this is televison nothing ever good happens!! Alex/Ava - stupid, Alex deserves better. Addison - chief said it all, sad to see her go. Izzy/George/Callie - Izzy's storyline for the main part of the season was good but now she loves George WHAT!! No way! George and Callie shouldn't hv married in the first place!! Thingz should go bk 2 normal where George and Callie are together but not married and Izzy well she get 2gether with Alex!! Burke/Cristina - inevitable, too much marriage talk this season, it was never going to work from the beginning!! Bailey - shame, but she couldn't be Chief Resident because she will lose her family. Meredith/Derek - so stupid, nonsense, got a sense that things will work out!! Definetly watch Season 4 - Who will be Chief of Surgery??? What will happen with McSteamy?? Will Alex find Ava? Hope not! What will George do? Should be very interesting with Meredith's hal
