WOW- Did Burke leave the show for good? Christina really loved him! Mer is all alone again and will see Derek date her half sister all season. Derek gave up career for Mer, but she said it is so over. Can Alex ever be happy?

Yes, it's her sister. Remember when Meredith's dad told her she could not come to the funeral, that is the girl that pulled him out of the hospital telling him to stop they had to go. They always talk about Lexie being away at school and now here she stinking is!!!

The only reason I liked the show is because it was believeable...until tonight. Bailey should have been named chief. Grey was ready to jump back into the relationship with McDreamy one minute and then why not the next? Totally does not have any basis in real life anymore...very hopeless.

For a real cliff hanger I thought it would have been a good finale to have Izzie end up pregnant with George's baby and Callie also wanting to become a mother...

Horrible show!!! The storyline didn't follow from previous episodes with Meredith and McDreamy and not one good event. Really thinking of not watching next year.

Okay, although I, too was disappointed by the weak writing of the finale, I seriously can't believe the negativity here. For everyone who is complaining about the lack of happiness and cheezy endings, I think you may have missed the first 3 seasons all together. NOTHING works out happily ever after for these guys. I think that's kind of the point. Yes, it was fairly depressing, which seems to be ABC's finale theme this season. As for the person who wrote complaining that it didn't tie up any loose ends...that's pretty much the definition of a cliff-hanger. It's not supposed to tie up the story line with a neat little bow on it - why would you bother to tune in next season? If you want happy endings, rent a Disney movie.

Come on. What's wrong with a little happiness. I'm starting to loose interest. You can only put Meredith and Derek through so much before you start to say ...I'm done. That is watching the show. Perhaps the writers should of spent less time on a spinoff that wasn't very good and spend more time on making Grey's work! Since when is Callie a resident? Thought she was a MD already? Totally screwed up.

ok lexie is merediths fathers child...which would make her last name grey...in the episode where thatchers wife dies he says that he is concerned about "Lexie's" internship...that is how she is merediths half sister...as far as everything else i was upset to see bailey not make chief res and george and izzie not together...so does that mean both george and burke are leaving the show?
