Grey's Anatomy Spinoff Gets a Name, Sort of

The heavily anticipated Kate Walsh led Grey's Anatomy spin off finally has a name - at least, a tentative one. ABC unveiled the moniker for the new show at a star studded media buyers event during network development week. ABC exec's lauded the Grey's Anatomy spin off's spectacular cast that in addition to Walsh, includes Taye Diggs, Tim Daly, Amy Brenneman, Chris Lowell, and others. The spin off is being touted for its stand alone premise that will take Walsh's character out of the realm of nightmarish medical emergencies and incorporated hospital trysts into a setting they think less hardcore medical drama fans will appreciate. In that sense, the proposed name for the Grey's Anatomy spin off is quite apt, indeed.

Hey! Day Break made it *six* episodes before it was pulled. But seriously, failed show or not, Taye Diggs was solid.

Not only is Taye Diggs a solid actor, but he is one of the finest men alive!

We get Veronica Mars over here, and I have to say I enjoy the show and its different take on things, including teenage life even though Veronica does her fathers work.... It was a shame to see it being pulled just because it wasn't doing well in America, there are other countries who enjoy it

I think it so stupid Kate Walsh gets her own show. Sure, she is a good actress, and I really like her. But she isn't one of the original cast and she is making a spin-off of it.

I truly love GA the way it is now. Kate Walsh is not my favorite. I dont think they should have a spin off they should leave it the way it is forever. I dont think of her as one of the stronger characters. Why cant they just leave GA alone. I would be ok if they brought more people on GA not take them away. This makes me mad.

I just want to say that despite the fact that I was WRONG about Day Break only getting three eps... IT WAS SOLID! So happy to see that ABC has the sense to separate their faith in their creative talent from the quirky tastes of the audiences...

I really didn't like the spin off. Not only did it take up too much time throughout Greys last night, it just didn't fit to me...
The storyline seems really boring, the acting seemed really forced to me and WHY WHY WHY do we need another show set in California!? I'm sick of looking at California and I'm sick of looking at doctors in California. Everything about the spin off seemed wrong and I most definitely wont watch it if they do decide to air it...
