Lets face it people, Meredith is not as big a part of this show as we would like her to be!!! Would it really be that horrible if she did just bite it??? I feel that the rest of the cast could totally pull the show off without Ellen Popeo!!

I think it's Derek that will die in a car accident. We've all had our focus on Meredith and her Mom. Derek will leave the hospital thinking she's dead, drive away and crash. Meanwhile those "know it all, stubborn" interns will revive her. Watch the "How to Save a life video" and see the car crash scenes throughout it. Then read Shonda's blog and reference to what would Derek be if he didn't know "how to save a life."

I hope they don't kill off Derek. The chemistry between him and Meredith is whats makes the show!(IMO) Please don't kill off either of them!

I'm thinking that they'll draw it out for a while - into the first part of the show ... and then just as Meredith takes her first breath back into life ... Ellis (her mom) will be on the table, getting that heart sugery that Meredith wanted her to have ... and she'll flatline and take her LAST breath ... simultaniously ... with cut-backs to both characters ... and then Meredith will have to deal with it 'all' as she recovers ... just a thought.

As soon as Meredith died, I knew a) that she'd come back and that b) the ramp and the shark were in place.

We all know that Meredith is not going to die.The show would no longer be Grey's Anantomy. But, the million dollar question is who will die? So say that it is Meredith's mom Ellis Grey. Well we will see.

Derek and Meredith have lost their chemistry. George and Callie are so hotter. As a matter of fact Burke and Christina are better than bony Grey and Dull Derek.

i don't want meredith to die but as long as george doesnt go anywhere, it's fine. and george and callie are so much better than meredith and dereck,i agree with the person above me. but i don't think she'll actually die and george better not go anywhere

This might be totally dumb but i think that Meredith will go into a coma after being revived. They will drag that on, and when she wakes up her mom will be dead, (She wont know because she will lose her memory) BUT she will have forgotten all about Derek...just a guess.
