Okay people let's not be totally naive...Meredith as you know is suffering from hypothermia-therefore her brain is fine because it is so cold-and because they have been supplying Oxygen through CPR...she'll be fine...my friend things she'll go into a comma and walk around the hospital (spirit like) and see what is going on and hear what people think about her...So what do u think will happen...since OBVIOUSLY she's not dead and won't die---hello this is hollywood people..not real life!

I agree Australia person...I loved the "Martin Luther King" Izzie speach...People need more faith and Izzie is such an awesome actress and also very spiritual. I hope people can get something real from this silly soap opera show..I like it too, but also realize I live in a real life-with REAL problems and REAL deaths. I am a teacher and one of my students committed suicide last year...it is a real issue! and I wonder what the show will do..since it was a suicide. Life is precious and we do only get one shot...I am very spiritual and believe in hell & heaven...I hope people REALLY contimplate LIFE & DEATH...this show helps people think BEYOND entertainment...think beyond a silly show...there are real life situations in this show-embelished...silly and lovy dovy squishy at times...but REAL...don't forget about REALITY.

This first I'm postinga comment. I think it would be insane to kill Meredith character for two simple reasons: the most intersting relationship lines are Meredith-Christina and Meredith-Derek. All the others are very fine, but they are secondary. With Meredith and those two lines gone the show will lose its spinal cord. JMHO

Of course Mer can't die. Come on she is the star "Grey's Anatomy" remember! Some one is going to have a baby! And Callie has a HUGE secret.I don't like Callie. Mer's mom will probably pass on.

| Member | Can not wait for next weeks conclusion. While the hyprotherima is a plausible excuse for Meredith's condition. To aid in her recovery, air flow to brain and organs. How many people have ever been in such a catastrophic situation. Such as New Oreans, who can say it wasn't realistic. We say Meredith being pushed over. I wonder who else will show up in the "great beyond" to guide her back? George's Dad? |

I personally think Mer's mom will die before Meredith is brought back and she'll get to see her mom one last time. With everything that has happened between Meredith and her mom, wouldn't it be nice to see her mom tell her she loves her before going? I have to believe that Meredith will live. Btw. When did George's dad die? I must've missed that episode.

her coming back is predictable (hello? its GREYS anatomy) but not at all corny or unrealistic. so technically she flatlined last episode, but you do not call a hypothermic patient clinically dead until you restore normal body temperature. its not as if they are "bringing her back to life" like this supernatural cheesy storyline... its actually a very realistic hypothermic situation. her heart has stopped, but they will continue giving her oxygen and continue warming her up. then they will shock her with the defib. and try again at normal temp to resuscitate. if anything is unrealistic it's that every one of the specialty surgeons (with the exception of callie) are working on one patient while there is a CRISIS going on around them...
