Seriously, I think Isaiah Washington was showing his immature side. I mean sure T.R. Knight could try to get back at him by calling him the "n" word but I know he's better than that. I think we should all forget about it and move on. Who cares if T.R. Knight is gay?? I DON'T!! I still love him and his character on Grey's Anatomy the same!! And so what is Isaiah Washington let the cat out of the bag?? It just shows what a jerk he is, it doesn't take away from his skillful acting. Let it go people!!

If you ask most African American if the f-word and the n-word is the same. The answer will be hell no. Please do not ever compare the two as being the same. If T. R. is so offended by the use of the word "faggot" he wouldn't have use it on Ellen's show. Being gay and black aren't the same and never will be. FYI, African American is most victims of hate crimes. Why isn't whites and gays outraged about that? We (blacks) go through B.S. 24/7. As African Americans we can never hide our skin color but gays people can pass as being straight. I feel it all comes down to race. I. W. is a black man. African American are scrutinized in everything we do. We are program to believe everything white is good and everything black is bad. This is a big lie. In most people eyes especially whites folks people with dark skin are view as the boogeyman. Some people are color (Asian, Mexican Latinos etc) are buying into this stereotype too. I think it's funny how so many people believe what T.

I think his comments are un called for, but I think it should be dealt with at the workplace. Coworkers do not need to agree with each others lifestyle, but should have a common respect for one another. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I agree with Heigl he should keep his thoughts to himself and not speak in public.

I wish that the media would let this go and let the cast and crew of Grey's Anatomy settle this among themselves.....the way it is done on most jobs. T.R. Knight was "supposedly" not even on the set when the fight happened. Why is he making it worst by getting all of these females ( Rosie, Ellen Kat Heigle) to defend him ( that's what sissies do). I must admit that it is difficult for me to imagine him having sex with a girl now.....and that's too bad.

Quite frankly, all of this hub-bub and continuous media coverage about the Washington/Knight siutation is going to cause me to stop watching my favorite show...in fact, the only show that I committ to watching each week.

Is what Washington said nice? No. Was it a derogatory statment? Yes.

But, let me ask you this... If I were on set, and Washington called me a PIG, would that be nice? No. Would it be a derogatory term regarding my weight? Yes. Would anyone in the media care that he called me a PIG, or would our society be calling for him to go to counseling? Absolutely not.

The fact of the matter is that the majority of our society believes in freedom of speech, as long as its the approved freedom of speech. You can have an opinion, as long as Hollywood or the media give that opinion a thumbs up.

We're dealing with actors, people. Actors. Not brain surgeons, or rocket scientists or anything remotely important. Why do we care so much about their on-set tiffs?

Ran out of room for my rant!

He's still a great actor and very hot. I hope he stays and continues to be an annoying, needling presence. I haven't enjoyed a character this much since Dr. Romano annoyed everyone on ER.

Thanks to Washington I no longer watch Grey's Anatomy. He has turned me off the show entirely. In the past I purchased the seasons DVD, and until Washington's bad behavior I was taping the episodes when I could not be home. I will not be doing either of those in the future. The T.R. incident was bad, but the disrespect that he showed Shonda Rhimes at the Golden Globes is unforgivable. He deliberately snatched the microphone from her hand to make his inappropriate remark in front of a world wide audience. For me to continue to watch him, as an African-American woman would be to smile at an insult from a member of the ku klux klan. That will never happen. Maybe Rhimes did not care but I care for her and every other woman who has been insulted by a man, black or white who did it because he could get away with it. Was Washington drunk or on drugs that night?

Being called the "f word" and the "n word" should NEVER be compared!!!! EVER!!! Being gay is a choice. One's race is not chosen and an individual should never have to cope with the consequences of being called out of their name because of something that they have no control over. Comparing the two words just does not make sense! It's not the same and will never be!
