![]() So last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy wasn't terribly upbeat. Not bad, just not one to make you sing about the happiness of the world. Let's get straight to recapping, shall we? The show opened with Meredith's snoring. Our dear Dr. McDreamy can't sleep with such noise, and they have cute bickering moments throughout the episode. George notices that Izzie's $8.7 million dollar check has been removed from the fridge and is...ecstatic, to say the least. He makes a comment about rosebuds, sparking initial confusion with me and the sleigh in "Citizen Kane" (I soon realized he was making a reference to the money). We have the first awkward meeting between Addison and Dr. Karev. They do a little dance and try to avoid each other as best they can. And remember the scoliosis patient from last week, the one that wanted the super expensive surgery so she could stand up straight? Well, the lucky girl received a donation from an anonymous person! Dr. Bailey calls Izzy out, and refuses to let her scrub in on the surgery, saying she gets too emotionally involved with her patients. To read the rest, click here.

This episode was actually autobiographical of the writer. Her dad went through the exact same things that Mr. O'Malley did. http://www.greyswriters.com/2007/01/six_more_days_w.html

Renal failure is kidney failure, not total organ failure. However, kidneys are often the first of the organs to go, and renal failure often means total organ failure will followw.
