dr burke must stay on the show! he is an unbelievable actor and so easy to look at. We all make mistakes,he is getting help .Leave him alone the show needs him!!!

Burke is my favorite character on the show...hands down! The only reason he is one this list is because of the real life drama. Anyone who has issues with the actor Isaiah Washington needs to get over it and realize that he is playing a character, an amazing one at that, and one that the show should not lose. I think they will regret it if they ever did.

Burke is amazing, I hope that he is not the one to leave by the end of this season. If he leaves the show will lose. He is the reason that myself and many people watch the show.

Isaiah Washington brings a calm, soothing-familiar warmth to the show! His acting truly depicts REALITY as his character's professional demeanor parallels that of a true surgeon His hunger for perfecting each and every surgery and mentoring his interns brings such realism to the show that without him Grey's Anatomy would be second to ER. He truly is an asset to the show--his gracefullness, patience and persistance is something we all could learn from. Please let's look at an actors ability to ACT and not REACT from statements that are made! We all are guilty of not always being PC. LEAVE THE man alone and let him deliver and ACT on the Show..I don't see to many people throwing such harsh Criticism at those who are in charge of leading our Country..Seriously let the man be and worry about the change in the world that is worth changing!

All the characters in Grey's Anatomy are essential. As evidenced by last night's show, what happens to one affects all. They are one big family. The show would not be the same if any one of them were to leave. Each week I expect to see all of them and what is going on their lives and their profession.

Burke is HOT!!!!! I find his caharacter multi-layered and grounded. He is the yin to Christina's yang. He provides balance to the whole ensembble.I don't know how diffiult Issaih is to work with, certainly his iappropriate langauge and actions are unacceptable. I beleive he got that message.
I really can't see any other actor pulling off the depth Issiah brings to Burle's character.

Get rid of Burke, and Grey's Anatomy loses one of the best things about the show. Forget all the "Mer/McDreamy" stuff. Burketina is way more intense. If Burke goes, there won't be any reason to keep watching the rest of these whiny gits.

I love Burke. He has so many spiritual thoughts and really pushes Cristina to see the world as a glazed donut. As well, with the marriage they have together soon, it would be silly to slowly remove Burke off the show. He is too important in Christina's life, and Christina is important in Meredith. The great vine.

Burke is my favorite character on the show and I completely disagree with you. He is the entire reason that I am a fan. His relationship with Cristina is the best part of the show and the only part that is not so sophomoric as to be insulting to anyone over the age of 19. Isaiah Washington is not in the least an unlikeable person on or off the screen. You really should not make comments about someone you obviously do not know. I completely agree with Cassie and Michelle who wrote comments just before me. Burke is the best thing to happen to GA. If Shonda and company succomb to the gay media and terminate his contract it would be travesty and I can tell you this fan would never tune in again.
