I didn't see the finale -- what happened?

I didn't realize that the finale was going to be on a Monday and I totally missed it, grrrr. So does Denny get the heart or does he die and it's Izzie's fault?

You really missed a great show! Well with Denny, he did end up getting the heart. The surgery went really well, but no one was there and he ended up having a clot and he died. Izzy found him and when everyone else found her she was laying in bed with him. She really started to lose it and Alex scooped her up and sat with her. Burke ended up having surgery and it went well but its still unsure whether he will ever be able to perform surgery again. The chiefs neice ended up in the hospital and she has cancer and is going to die. She was at her prom when that happened. And since all the interns said they cut the wire, the chief said they weren't allowed to do surgeries anymore and they had to take care of his niece and do what ever she wants. Well with her friends help they plan a prom at the hospital. Merideth and Dereks dog ends up dying. While at the prom, Derek and Merideth start staring at each other and Merideth takes off and Derek goes after her. They have some words and they end up sleeping together right there in the hospital. Georges woman walks in as they are dressing to tell Merideth that Izzy needs her. So at the end Izzy tells the chief that she was the one who cut the wire and she quits. Yeah, I almost forgot, Denny proposed to Izzy when he was really sick after she cut the wire. And after his surgery, he asked her again and she said yes. Then after Izzy quit they decided to stop the prom. And Doc. Fin says he will take Merideth home and Derek is right there and it ends with her having to make the choice between Fin and Derek. So it was pretty cool.
