'Grey's Anatomy' Star Deemed Unsexy

When watching a show like Grey's Anatomy, it's hard to believe that so many beautiful people can work in one hospital. There's Meredith, McDreamy, Alex, Izzie, McSteamy, and Lexie. What about Cristina Yang? According to Maxim magazine, she's not hot. So much so, in fact, that they've ranked the actress who plays her, Sandra Oh, on their Unsexeist Women Alive list. After Esquire magazine recently named Charlize Theron the Sexiest Woman Alive, Maxim decided to take a stand and go in the opposite direction, exploring the five women who apparently, no one finds attractive.

I dunno, remember when Cristina went on her first date with Burke and was trying on dresses in the locker room? She looked pretty good in those!

Maxim needs to get over itself. If the only reason they named Sandra Oh as one of their unsexiest women because they are not getting laid, then it is safe to assume they are extremely pathetic. It is not physical looks that make a woman sexy, it is the way they present themselves by demonstrating the fine line between being sensual and just plain trashy. Not to mention there are plenty of types of sexy. Plus Dr. Christina Yang, is awesome, her sarcastic personality is part of what gives Grey's Anatomy its flavor.

I have to agree with buddydebbie. She looked pretty good trying on those dresses. I mean she might not be as good looking as Meredith and Izzie but she is pretty dicient.

true, she does look pretty at times, i just think that she isnt beautiful especially compared to the other girls on the show. like in her wedding dress she was pretty pretty.

I almost had a fit when I read this headline. Is this what our society has come to? I mean celebrating beauty is one thing, but picking out people who do not fall into this ridiculous standard is entirely another. It's disguisting that we have to do this to feel better about ourselves. I wholeheartedly agree with camelot's comments, that sexiness is so much more than looks (even though I think that Sandra Oh is gorgeous) and Oh's portrayal of Dr. Yang in the show is what keeps me coming back each week.

I mean seriously Cristina might not be the prittiest girl on the show, but we don't see anyone making fun of Dr.Baliley.
