as for the poster who said that they did not need to have sex just to be in love .....how old are you???? she is not a nun and he is not a priest and they were both free to do what they want so what is stopping them??? A simple answer....no feelings as lovers only as very good friends. They have no PASSION for each other...that's it. That kiss in the elevator was not that hot, it was exciting for them because it was FORBIDDEN!!! Like a little man George is, he was the one to make the first move, by pulling her in because it was exciting...for a supposely good moral man like george. MY A**

Guilt and bad timing is what is holding them, Shonda and George said it themselves, they had no problems kissing before while totally sober, and kissing very hotly, they did not kiss like friends at all and now they cannot kiss, why? They were friends before and had no problems, things just went too fast, it happened to a lot of couples, it happened to me and my boyfriend at first and we have a prfectly great sex life now, thanks. Things are not always dark and white. When Alex could not get it up, it was because he was feeling inferior not because he did not want Izzie. A little psychology helps at times. George and Izzie are in love and whren they get their acts together and do not try so hard to have the perfect night (and there is that, Izzie has never slept with a guy she was in love with before), so she wants to make it extra special and is putting extra pressure on both of them, when thwe timing is right and they just are themeslves, the sex will fix itself. I have to agree I hate Gizzie. I think that George and Izzie should just be friends. I too like Callie and think that she is cool, but she and George getting married has got to be the worst idea ever. I really did not see George as the type of person who would cheat on his wife. I hope that they will end Gizzie before I decide to stop watching. George and Izzie should just stay friends, but that will be hard now that they have crossed the friendship line.

I have to agree with all the Gizzie lovers here. Gizzie is the best couple on TV and they are why I watch. If they are not together, I will stop watching, they are the one good thing on the show. Loving all the Gizzie love here and the fact they are winning the couple showdown. Oh and I also hate Lexziepuke.

I was a fan of the friendship that George & Izzy shared but they tore that apart, neither of them remembers the night they spent together, George felt "proud b/c a woman like Izzy would look at him in that way, the S/L showed Izzy as desprate to hold on to her friendship w/ George and both were more in love w/ the thought of being in love. George also suffered a blow by failling the test. I like Callie but think their marriage was rushed. So no Gizzy for me

Do you watch the show? Izzie remebers that night, she told George it was hours of her life, hours that were ALL she could think about, she remembered every single detail about that night and how it felt like home to her and how it was the ebst sex she ever had in her life, she said it felt like things were falling into place. LOL' she remembered, she could not stop thinking about it, do you even watch the show?
George blocked it out out of guilt but then he remembered while having lunch with Callie's dad.
They are in love, Izzie said it even now they they are broken up she is still in love with him and saying it.
Just look at how they look at each other, it is so clear they are in love
