I don't like combined nicknames either, but I don't think the Gizzie nickname i worse than MerDer, Cage, Burketina, Lexzie, Asszie and so on. George and Izzie, on the other hand, I do love. I believe what they have is real and deep and beautiful and I think they have fabulous chemistry, they always leave me wanting more and more. IMHO, no ther couple even comes close to their chemistry and love.

Everybody already knows my opinion of Gizzie, so I won't go into that. But I will say that I adore Katherine Heigl. She is a great comedic actress--thought she was wonderful in Knocked Up, as well as in her scenes with Really Old Guy--and she's beautiful but still relatively normal-sized. I am totally on the Katherine Heigl love train. T.R. Knight doesn't do it for me quite as much as Heigl does, mostly it's because there's something about the way he pronounces words that I don't like, but he is definitely a lovable looking guy. And I also love that they are like BFFs in real life. I find that adorable.

I, personallly, don't enjoy the whole Gizzie thing: it feels forced. However, I don't like George and Callie together either... they're flat. TR Knight doesn't have any serious chemistry with either actress and thus I find it a lil' hard to root for either of 'em. George was a great character in seasons 1 and 2 and Knight still has the character down to a tee but I think they should cut George's ties with both characters: it hurts the show, the fine acting by all three of Knight, Ramirez and Heigl and has made all three characters a real hell to watch in last year or so.

I personally love George and Izzie, and I think it's really only a matter of taste. It's not hard to give them a pass for their storyline if you think they make a good pair, and for many, what they've seen is enough to do that. And not everyone can like every couple on every show. There is no doubt in my mind though that once we get past the worst of this cheating storyline, something they were saddled with by Shonda, George and Izzie will be fun again. That's not gone, it's just been quite necessarily put on the backburner due to storyline. I'm just waiting it out. Yes, I hate portmanteaus as much as the next, but it's O'Stevens, okay? If there has to be a name mush, isn't that one even slightly more palatable?

"Just because the GIZZIE fans have enough time to SPAM boards like this and the poor GA writers blog, does not mean anything at all. It only shows that the people who are FANATICS of a tv show couple have WAY too much time on their hands. These two are as gross as that nickname they have." WOW. Get over it, these two have fans. How is it hurting you personally that they're why we watch the show? OH RIGHT, it's not. Excuse me while I wipe up all that spooge of yours.

I love george and Izzie, and I agree it is a matetr of taste. A lot of people love them and a lot don't, but right now a slight majority seems to be loving them, and the fanbase keeps on growing. I think as others have said, you take away the cheating storyline, which even the Gizzie fans hate, and they will eb fun again, in fact they have proven over the two last episodes how cute, wonderful and funny a couple they can be. The scene in the hall was amazing, I loved how they were flirting and teasing each other and man, I wanted them to kiss so badly, as much as they wanted to. TR and Katherine always bring out the best in each other and should always always be paired together, they have that rare connection that jumps off the sceren and grabs you. Some people were asking why Gizzie has so many fans despite the adultery, well it is all TR and Katherine, they are the ones that make you believe how much those two love ecah other, that make you laugh, cry, smile.

HA! Debbie & I are determined to disagree on everything. I loved Samantha Who? & she didn't. Now, she's more of a Heigl fan than a Knight fan? AHHH!!! On a side note, I never thought about how he pronounces things weird & I just burst out laughing.

Never noticed how TR pronounces things, what I do notice is how he can express so much without a word, now that is talent. He can make me laugh one minute and cry the next. When Izzie lied she didn't love him, the heartbreak on his face was heartwrenching. Katherine is amazing too, they both can express so much without a word, it is all in their eyes and faces, and they work amazingly well together, both as friends and as a couple. They are the reason why I am so obsessed with this couple, I have never loved a couple that much. Oh and I love TR's voice, I find it sexy and sweet.

I love this couple and many other people do so I am tired of the critics all bashing them and acting like they have no fans, which is so far from the truth. Them asking for Shonda to put an end to Gizzie smacks also of disrespect to the huge Gizzie fanbase. You do realize how many Gizzie fans would be devastated if they end right, or do our feelings not count at all?

i am not a huge gizzie fan... i think mainly because i personally saw no build up to a relationship. It is hard for me to understand izzy going from alex to denny to george all in years time-- since season one and two is suppose to be just one year. Personally, i guess i am always secretly hoping that alex and izzy would end up together and for me that was reinforced by alex's response in eposide 4, however i know that i am prolly in the minority haha
