Diahann CarrollToday on Grey's Anatomy, it is all about addictions. Addictions are bad, mmmkay?

After their break-up sex in the call room in last week's episodes, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) went back to Meredith's place to continue the break-up sex. They are all smiles, and decide that instead of being a relationship, they should henceforth, only engage in S&M: sex and mockery.

Downstairs, George (T.R. Knight) is flushed and excited after confessing to Izzie (Katherine Heigl) that he loves her too. He feels exhilarated to have finally figured out that he shouldn't have gotten married. He resolves to march back home and tell Callie (Sara Ramirez) that their marriage is over. Izzie, because she is a terrible human being and a worse friend, doesn't try to talk him out of it and merely sits there, ecstatic and giddy.

Have to say I'm really starting to wonder if BuddyTV is watching the same shows I am watching. I practically disagreed with majority of that article. Oh now I know why Oscar Dahl didn't write it.

How can you disagree? Izzie and George totally made these messed up patients problems all about themselves, and you could see the desperation of the writing as they tried to find a way to put off the inevitable downfall of George and Callie's marriage until November sweeps. The only things I disagree with are 1) Meredith, because she always sucks out loud and is being a total beeyotch to her awesome half-sister, and 2) Mama Burke was brilliant in every single thing she said. I think it, she says it, and her comments about Mer's wedding speech were dead-on. That "It's so over" was so disrespectful and self-absorbed to do at a wedding where all of Burke's friends and family are. The only thing missing from this recap: that awesome Bailey-Alex scene where she beat him up for being stupid. Chandra Wilson rocks!

Finally, someone says the truth about Izzy - selfish, selfish, selfish. Well, she said herself that she's trailer trash - she is sure proving it. Two things I didn't like about Mama Burke's pronouncements: 1) She assumed that Cristina could not be a "brilliant" heart surgeon unless Burke was teaching her, and 2) Since when does walking away rather than working things out become "honorable"? This whole recap? I think it - you write it!

Ya know, the people who come here to read a recap of the episode probably do so because they love Grey's and want to relive the episode or catch up on what they missed. At least I do. I'd really like to read a recap from someone who actually likes the show. I might have to stop coming to this site if all they do is bash the show and it's characters.

If you're gonna write a recap, you should really try to be non-biased. Particularly when you're one of the first websites to come up on google. People expect something GOOD out of a top list, not some barely highschool level opinion piece.

I also enjoyed the scenes with Mama Burke, except the last one when she said Christina
COULD'VE been a brilliant heart surgeon with Burke by her side. She'd already said Christina was a "strong woman," so what makes her think she needs a man for a teacher?!
Mer/Der---boooorrring!!
Also love Bailey! I heard Callie was leaving to do more broadway...wonder if Bailey will get to step in as HR?

See, the thing is, I really do like this show. Honest. But I also think that a lot of the fun in watching the show is pointing out how selfish Izzie and George are, and that is maybe where I differ from other GA fans.

I like Meredith and Cristina a lot, but I get why other people really can't stand them. But I really like how their friendship is written. In fact, their friendship is one of my favorite parts of the show, now that Addie is gone.

I also really like Alex and Bailey, so mebbeh next week, I will write *only* about them. :P
