Gossip Girl: "Much 'I Do' About Nothing" Season Finale Recap

Last week on Gossip Girl, we all gave a collective shrug as Serena admitted that she witnessed a drug overdose and left a man for dead. After she made peace with her actions, the extraordinary trio of Chuck, Blair, and Nate (Chace Crawford) decided to give Georgina the beat down of her life. However, the supremely evil diva managed to evade capture, and instead put the moves on poor, unsuspecting Dan. Meanwhile, Lily took her lips on a trip down memory lane by making out with Rufus. Will her indiscretion affect her impending marriage to Bart Bass?

To prepare for tonight's season finale, I've broken out a black headband, a multicolored scarf, white leggings, and a gin martini. It's time to wish the Upper East Siders a very scandalous summer.

that episode was so awesome I loved I cant believe that chuck cheated on blair already with a random hot blond well he is chuck bass lol and i personally would really like to see chuck with jenny I don't know why I just think they would be funny together. One Last Word Thank God NATE ANd Vanessa are not together anymore.

i would have liked to see C and B together a bit maybe in the future, hated N and V that was soo contrived, D and S seem to be heading to a break if i were D i would not trust her either, she was so horrible to him for weeks that is not what u do to someone u care about. i hope G is back next year. i thought that we were heading to a J and N hook up what happend to that. R and L need to be together especially now that D and S are broken up.

I think S and D should get together or maybe S and N! If S and N get together than I would D and V together. I do think the c and B belongs together but I think C is a jerk and it might now happen. Can wait to see what they do in season2. Summer is going to feel like forever!

Im really dissappointed that D is taking a break from S, what a load of crap. I really wanted to see them work it out, but it would be cool to see S and N date for awhile they are soooo cute, and N & V are over, thank god, in the episose they really didnt say why they broke up but i think its cause they both wanted to be with each others bf/gf''s...it just seemed alittle wierd for me, i guess we'll have to see next season.

Loved it. As much as I was cheering for Blair and Chuck to form the greatest couple ever (Blair's Georgina smackdown was divine), I'll admit to liking my Chuck Bass bad more than good. And Man-Bangs was almost as funny as GG's narration over the wedding, "We are gathered here today in this company to see this man and this woman totally eff things up." So true.

Chuck and Blair have always been and will always be meant to be!
Ed&Leighton owned tonights show, both seperately and of course together!
Their chemistry was beyond amazing, as usual, but even more so then usual, which I didn't think it was possible for two people to have THAT MUCH CHEMISTRY..I hated the ending, but I know that C&B are meant to be and all their scenes tonight proved it! Josh better be giving us All C&B all the time next season to make up for the last ten minutes of tonight's finale!

the crazy ending will just make season 2 a LOT more steamier and scandalous for everybody... :P but dang it! can't Chuck keep it in for just a while, to keep his promise to B? hahaha

anyway, B owned this episode! Darth G never saw it coming...

i doubt if they can create a character that can dethrone our favorite Queen B.

Blair and Chuck would be the greatest couple ever, but I kind of like them apart. They're both too deliciously evil to settle down. However, I would love to see them date for a few months, break up, then attempt to destroy each other in increasingly awful ways.

this episode showed how insane chuck and blair are i mean the line "im the crazy !@#!@" and "I'm Chuck Bass" - which is something of a recurrence lately... but they own the show.. blair vs georgina was nice and chuck with the new blond chick was effortlessly smooth, cant wait till the new season!
