but she can act so well get used to her being serena.

Jenny - Mackenize something from 7th Heaven
Serena - idkk maybe Blake cause i think she can pull it off

I actually like the boys though, for now always

Blake Lively is definitely one of the actresses that has charisma on screen, so don't judge her until you actually see her in action. As someone posted before, she was absolutely breathtaking in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and she most def has the carelessly glamorous look that Serena is supposed to have. Give her a chance guys, geez.

Hey!!! i actually like Blake for the part of Serena, i mean it's just like someone else said about nate, serena is just too good to be real... and im sure Blake can pull this off. she is very beautiful without having a lot of make up on. give her a chance...

well i think that they picked a good person to play for the part of serena. I mean sure she may not be the most angelic girl in the world but i think that she's close enough. Besides she really rocked in sisterhood of the traveling pants and i'm sure that she'll be great in Gossip Girl as well

I think that Blake Lively is good for this part she's pretty, but she she just doesn't look that good in this picture anyways Jenny or Taylor is to young.

I like Blake as Serena: blonde, blue-eyed, interesting face. Taylor's too young but admittely slightly prettier...

Wow, are you guys all completely shallow? I mean, i love the books to, but really, the TV show has to make its own name some how. Besides the fact, it's about how well they ACT not how well they look.

I totally agree with that. I understadn the point of these things, but come on guys, maybe they'll look better on screne. Besides, wut if the actor who looked like the character in the book couldn't act? Would you all be happier with that? Personally, i think THAT would ruin it. But if these guys can act... I don't see a problem with thier looks.
