| In honor of Mother's Day, BuddyTV has compiled this list of our 10 favorite motherly moments. To be honest, this entire list could be made up of maternal moments from Gilmore Girls. The show is all about the relationship between mother and daughter. A close second on this list was the final scene from the first season episode “Rory's Dance,” when Rory (Alexis Bledel) doesn't come home, leading to a series of epic screaming matches that just underscore how much these Gilmore women love each other. | "You didn't lose" me is the greatest phrase ever... that scene crushed my heart a googillion times... one of Lauren Graham's finest hours on GG... (mm... she's always in her finest hour, though...) |

| Glad you like this list. Whe it comes to Mother's Day, Gilmore Girls was the obvious choice for first place, the hard part was choosing just one moment from the series, since it truly is the ultimatemother-daughter TV show. This clip best reflects the total and absolute love a mother has for her child, that through all the mistakes and heartbreak, all can be instantly forgiven because she's still your mom. |

| I think that is the best scene from GG and it shows how much love a mother and daughter have for one another. The hug was incredible and I always tear up every time I watch it. Not only do you see the how much they missed each other when they were apart but how glad they were when they reunited. |

| A great moment from a classic show. Lorelai and Tami Taylor are tied for my favorite TV moms ever, so this list was pretty perfect. |
