I would love to see a movie made!!! I have watched the show from the second year on, and even though the ending may not be what I expected, it made me laugh and cry through the whole thing! Especially the connection that Lor. had with her dad, and her moms need to keep her close. Family ties is what the whole show was about. Whatever your opinion of the romance involved, the ideas that people learn to love, respect, and live together making the best of the relationship they have seems to be a theme. Especially the relationship between the lead mother and daughter! Yes, lets see this in a movie!! Can't wait for the offical anouncement of the Movie!

I very much want to see a Gilmore Girls movie.
When I first heard talk of an ASP Gilmore movie,
I thought: Great, a conclusion done right - not written and directed by a bunch of stooges and
140 to 180 minutes of commercial-free Gilmore Girls. Why should it be a "T.V. movie"? (A 2 hour TV movie is about 75 to 84 minutes of story)
I will happily PAY see a real update/conclusion
to the lives of characters I have greatly enjoyed the last 7 years. Put it in the theaters

Id like to see a GG movie though im not used to the idea of not seeing them again every tuesday night i really looked forward to it every week the finale did make me cried when lorelais father told her those great things about her it was great i cried with lorelai when rory was asleep and she was saying good bye to her daugther holding on to her until the very last moment but i agree there are a lot of things that werent answerd they canceled the show so quickly that it simply wasnt enough i wanna see what happens to them after rorys departure so everything is uncertain about that finale i also wolud like to say that i think those girls are terrific actreses and they really seemed mother and daugter i wish them the best and i also wish to see the movie soon

I can't believe they ended it all so abruptly. Very disappointing and a very lame ending... especially the Logan & Rory relationship. Do you remember the Valentines Day in Martha's Vineyard, she pondered to Lorelai that Logan and Luke might be the 'ones', then her dad gives his approval at Laine's wedding... well Lorelai ends up with Luke... Why leave poor Rory out. They grew so much together, both not liking the world their grandparents came from but finding common ground together - a great friendship, lots of respect for each other, what a great basis for a relationship. A movie to tie up the loose ends and sloppy finish would be perfect.

okayy after reading some of these comments i do agree..the roryy and logan thing was what i do think was pushed..but then again somewhere in there i realyy do think she loved him but can anyone remember how scared she was when dean said i love you for the first time..she was scared..i think she is scared now..i think she wants to take a deep breathe and take a few steps back and look it over and get her moms real opinion on it..i think with how close those two are that that had a lot to do with her decision..luke and lorelai together is a must in myy eyes!! i dunno maybe i have a totallyy different outlook on it..

The show had such high expectations. The cast was great together. I loved all of it. I was so disappointed with the ending. I liked some of it but come on some of the situations just ended, because there didn't seem to be enough time and for all the fans who loved show we really deserved better. I really hope they do a follow-up; My tuesday night with my daughter is never going to be the same. All the other shows are so out-there. This show was unique, quick, and funny. How great would it be to see Rory on her first job in the real world without Lorelai.
The ups and downs. Her and Logan growing up and finding out they love each other and or great friends. Luke coming back and Lorelai making a grown up decion to move into the house their parents buying for them. The Gilmores throwing the biggest Wedding that Lorelai really deserves. Luke ranting the whole time. The town getting invoved in more township events with more Lane/Zack being involved. Lorelai and Rory ending the show with the

I´m so disappointed with the finale. I expected something different: Rory and Logan together, Lorelai and Luke´s wedding and a scene of their future life with a new baby. What happened?

I hope the Palladinos will do more than one two hour movie... it would be great to see the series revived, even with a new name but most of the same characters, etc. since it's not really "Gilmore Girls" any more. I believe Jess belongs with Rory because he, too is a writer and loves books as much as she does. I can see them on the road together, etc. and Lorelei marrying Luke might be nice but not unless it becomes a series again. Not in one short movie. The focus needs to be spread among all the characters to tie up loose ends. I still don't know that a two hour movie is sufficient to do that!
