I'm sorry, but i just hated it with every fibre of my body. I used to love this show, i really did, but now I'm just gald it's almost over. I completely agree with what DWG wrote ... this episode was the most disgraceful we have seen so far in this season ... it's even worse then Lorelais stupid "You're the man I want to want.". What ??? Chris and Logan are both to good to be with women like that ... funny, caus ein th ebeginning it wa sth eother way around. DR & CW did a great job in running down this wonderful show to basically nothing more then trash. Even if there would be a season 8 ... after this disgrace; i wouldn't even watch it if had to choose between it and "the price is right".

Agree with Tamy and dwg and Sue and Debbie and all who thought this episode was the worst ever. D.R., the CW, and the writers of this episode should be totally ashamed. Maybe they could have corrected this horror with a shortened 8th season. But what they gave us was simply disgraceful. And they made Rory & Lorelei look like cold hags. Lorelei especially was just awful. Logan is lucky not to get this phony as a mother-in-law. God, this show was awful.

I can't remember a tv show that slapped loyal fans in the face like this. There was no back story leading up to proposal rejection. And even the network promos cruelly suggested an acceptance by Rory. This was out of the blue and just so totally wrong. Many Logan fans boycotted the finale because of this. I know several. TV shows are fighting for viewers so they think it's okay to insult some of them?
I don't get it.

"F"..I'm with you. AS-P would have taken this series in the right direction. And she is on record as saying that her direction for the show changed over the years due to the great chemistry between Logan & Rory. So we know that the horrible break-up and rushed finale would not have happened with her in charge. She loved Logan's complexity and would never have treated him like Rosenthal did. Oh the what ifs are huge here. Just a sad ending all the way around.

Hey everyone, I can see everyone's point, I think Rory was too young to get married but I think Logan was perfect for her, I found Dean was just too perfect and nice and I just didn't seem to walm to Jess and his "badboy" image just didn't go well with the personality of her character. I think even know Logan is rich, he doesn't flaunt it and it wasn't his money that attracted Rory to him in the first place, it was the fact that she was smart, quick witted and wasn't like other snobby rich kids who he knew in his life, rather she was very down to earth coming from a family that consisted her her and her mom, who were each other's life and I suppose in a way he wanted that because his family were very snobby and stuck up and not very close. I think they shouldn't of split up but maybe tryed to work it out bcoz both are young and are still trying to work out where their life is going. That's my opinion anyway, thanks 4 reading

What a terrible ending to this show. The way they had the intelligent Logan stand up to his dad and go his own way in business was great. They showed Logan to be the smart, talented and value driven man that many of saw right from the beginning. Logan was great to watch. The part was played to perfection with charm and charisma. So this contrived breakup was just toally wrong. Wrong in every way. I'm glad that Logan will be a success in life on his own terms but what Rory and her mother did to him is something that will never be forgotten. The wrong way to end a series for sure.

When I saw ASP's pilot was picked up just for midseason I got even madder at the WB/CW. Dawn Ostroff and those people are just too stupid. They cound't give a two years contract to Amy and Daniel Palladino, when that was exactly what would have saved them from the pitty spot they are now. With the Palladinos, season 7 would had done better. It doesn't matter that Lorelai slept with Christopher or whatever in S6. That was not the first controversy in the show, but Amy and Daniel always turned out the table for the better. They would have convinced AB/LG to sign for season 8 and, if not, they would give a new midseason option to the CW since they are painted to fail big time next fall...

Agree totally the comments above. The loss of the Palladinos ultimately wrecked the show. And Brooke made a good point taht Logan really didn't flaunt his money. He actually was very classy and cool about being so rich. IMO whena show has a finale that singles out one group of fans for misery (Logan & Logan & Rory) they have done a very bad job. This OOC breakup was totally not needed and was written very badly. What a shame. This is the most disgusted I've ever been over a tv show since I have been watching GG the last 3 years soley for Logan & Rory. And then they did this to us.
Very insensitive. 3 years down the drain in one week.
