Saying Yes or No really isn't the question here. The question is WHY do the writers have to have a marriage proposal in the first place? I would be fine with Rory & Logan not getting married to end this series. Rory especially, is very young. But this contrived story line is ridiculous. You don't go from showing Logan around Stars Hollow one week. Then telling him to hurry home the next week. Then to turning down a marriage proposal in the 3rd week! It doesn't make sense. It is forced and unbelievable. Rory has been with Logan for 3 years now. She's lived with him. They are obviously very much in love. It would make more sense for her to say yes and face the future with Logan than to say no like some frightened little school girl. This isn't the Rory we have know over the years. And it is a total insult to poor Logan who, quite frankly, has become this show's most interesting character. This proposal/rejection is the worst storyline ever. I've never seen a worse one an any show. I abs

I absolutely dread the last 2 episodes of Gilmore Girls because of this awful storyline.
It is simply not right to make all the characters happy at the end of a show EXCEPT one! Why do they pick Logan to be unhappy and rejected to end this show? When I see Rory smiling and happy at her send-off in the finale I am going to forever dislike her. And that is also not the way to correctly end a show that people have watched for 7 years now.
Absolutely the worst ending to a show I've ever seen!

Exactly, Sue, Rory saying yes or no to Logan's proposal isn't the issue: the proposal as a contrived way to break up a couple that have being together for almost three entire seasons
is. Now, about "Maybe the writers just wanna leave the future of Rory's love life to our own imagination", Sammi, the writers could have done the same to Lorelai's love life and I bet a lot of people wouldn't like it. If the every writer decide to leave the future's love life of every character to viewers imagination, there wouldn't be happy endings.

What a terrible way to end a great series. An absurd and forced story just get Rory as a career girl. They are making much about the show ending the way it began. Huh? How many of us live our lives for 7 years, meeting new people, having new experiences, and then just reject them all so we can be where we were at 7 years agao? This ridiculous story is just so completely wrong. I hope Rory shows more ethics as a reporter than she has in her love life. Awful ending to this show.

I have loved the Logan character since the second he first appeared in October 2004. He is agreat character played perfectly by Matt Czuchry. The fun loving playboy with the heart of gold and a love of life. And then grown into a responsible loving young man. To think what these producers and writers are doign now to Logan makes me sick. I will nevre forget this. Or the picture of Rory smiling at her big party right after rejecting Logan. What a total disgrace this show has become. It si just sad.

it doesn't make sense for her to say no. How long has it been since these writers were in college?!?! most college students don't have a job lined up right away!!!! its normal to wait up to 6 months maybe more before you get a job.. ARRRGHH! i hat this ending!
