It’s been a long time since I’ve seen an all-new Gilmore Girls and the show won’t be back until April 17th. I’ve had time to ponder whether the series should continue, and if it doesn’t, what the fate of one of my favorite on screen couples will be. There are two areas of speculation, the first being that the series will come to an end this year and the second leaving open the possibility of an 8th season. Given these two scenarios, what is going to happen between Rory and Logan? To read the rest, click here.

As long as there's a season 8, I won't mind either way. Go "Great8Mandate"!

Rory & Logan don't have to get married. But they should not break-up this couple. I agree that they should stay together even if they don't get married. I don't think there will be an 8th season and I'm afraid they will break them up to end the show. They are the best couple on tv. They shouldn't break-up to end this show.

Logan and Rory should be together always for the long haul. No couple on tv even comes close to chemistry bewteen these two. They are the perfect match and have been thru so much. If the spoilers are correct the producers are going to ruin this beautiful couple to end the series. I hope there is an S8 with them. If this is it the worst thing they can do is split them up right at the end. So totally wrong to the fans...just toally wrong on every level. Keep them together!

It just doesn't seem plausible to separate a couple who has been through so much for the past 3 seasons, it's just ridiculous to me at this point! To me it's a cop-out by the writers to have Rory remain solo & have Logan's rejection over a wedding proposal. I'm with the staff writer that despite their drama-filled relationship, they managed to pull through. Come on... the fans deserve better!

Breaking up Rory and Logan to end this series is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. They have been thru every kind of rough patch for 3 years and then this? This is contrived and unbelievable. I don't think this is the way to end a series with such loyal fans. Are the writers saying that Rory isn't talented enough to have a career and a husband? This is 2007...not 1957! This storyline is absurd!

Go to RoryandLogan.net and download the letters to Rosenthal and Ostroff. Sign and mail those letters.

In many ways, Rory and Logan deserve each other. Both are very self-centered and only really care about their needs and not about others.

I've been watching Gilmore Girls since season 1 but, after two crap seasons filled with unnecessary drama (long lost daughters, exes showing up) and no real progress in the relationships heart of the show (Lorelai/Emily/Richard, Rory/Richard and even Rory/Christopher), Rory and Logan romance became my only reason to not give up on GG. Their ups and downs, how they grew up together was something interesting to watch. Rory and Logan went through so many things together. And, as a viewer, I went with them. Rooted for them. And now David Rosenthal will break them up due to some outdated prejudice about women needing to be single in order flourish in their careers? Oh please, Margaret Thatcher got married young in 1951 and it didn't stop her to become a powerful Primer Minister of England!!! But Rory Gilmore can't have a boyfriend in 2007 or she won't get a job after her graduation from college??? Thanks God other writers are smarter than that, or happy endings would never exist on TV sho

Thanks God other writers are smarter than that, or happy endings would never exist on TV shows... I feel betrayed twice for the show: I felt betrayed for what ASP did to Lorelai and Luke last season and I feel betrayed for what DR is doing to Rory and Logan now. So I decided to no watch the next five (and probably final) episodes of Gilmore Girls. And I don't care if there is a season 8 or not, because after two painful seasons someone would have to make a miracle to convince me that this show still worth to be watched. |
