The pair met in 2007 when the Charmed star appeared in Rodriguez's film Planet Terror. Soon after, the movie director divorced his wife of 16 years and proposed to McGowan. The Hollywood couple split less than a year later but soon reconciled and were reportedly planning to wed later this year.
