yes you mentioned next moment when Dawson was rather selfish and didnt care how Joey feels about it...although i have to admit as much as i never understood Dawson,i felt with him that he felt hurt or something...i just never got that she loved Dawson whole her life(at least few last year) and than when she has him she decided to find herself and told him that she has to be alone..and after few days she was with Jack..i dunno it was quite stupid from her....on the other side agree that it was same stupid from him to shoot movie about their relationship and i totally understand that she felt uncomfortable...

about CJ,i knew that there was something wrong with him but i wasnt sure...now when adia thinks that it was his baby,too so its probably true....

i love how you said that...exactly-simple,quiet and sad....i love this end,too...although it wasnt typical happy ending and i was sooo sad about Jen´s end,it was actually kind of welcomed for me...i like emo moments and ending...it´s why i for example love movie pay it forward(im not sure about title) or whale rider and else...

Omg, I loved Whale Rider! I cried uncontrollably when Paikea was giving her speech that was dedicated to her grandfather and he wasn't there. I mean my heart just broke for her...I was kinda happy I waited to watch it on DVD 'cause I would've been embarrassed sobbing in the movie theater, lol.
But for DC, I too love the emo moments (as we both know, lol). But life's kinda full of those emo moments and I think it made the whole show more realistic watching them have to deal with the death of one of their friends. I guess it would've been weird if they all went off and lived happily ever after.

I had my on-again/off-again moments with her character where I liked her and then didn't (usually I disliked her when she was dating or liking Dawson). But by season 6 I really loved her so that plus the fact that she had a baby made her death so much sadder.

next moment which i remember was for me really heart breaking and couldnt do anything than stare through tears and i was all mushy...it was when grams was crying and came to Jack and he hugged her and they cried together...

I was so gonna use that scene in my vid but when I tried to watch it again to edit it, I couldn't stop from crying at it. I had to leave it out

Pacey is as great as always. By that point in the second season the writers probably deeple regretted not calling the show Pacey's Creek and making it more about him.

LOL, I so felt like I was watching Pacey's Creek in season 6. He WAS the show. He owned every scene he was in, whether he was being funny or having a dramatic moment. Omg, Pacey's dramatic scenes were so powerful. He only had a few moments on the show where he cried, but when he did I fell apart.

Dawson filming that movie about him and Joey's life and relationship is just another moment of Dawson's self-absorbed life.

Oh,i loved this movie,too...It was really really sad,i have to say...and just one reason why i wasnt crying was that all classmates were there,because we were at cinema with school...but Paikea´s grandfather was so unbelievable cruel to her...it was totally emo film...How she was trying to satisfy her grand dad that she is good as well as boys are,but he didnt like her,just because she was girl and he wanted to have a son...aaah...and yes...the one of the saddest moments when she was on podium and read something for her grandfather and he wasnt there and she was so broken....i dunno,but it was really one of the saddest movie,which i´ve seen....it´s been enough years since i saw it,but still i remember that it was really sad and strong story..

I'm still totally in love with DC and having separation anxiety. I don't want to move on from this one...I keep rewatching eps, making vids, and reading all the gossip about the show. I don't wanna let it go

Aye, I had such a hard time with her grandfather because I know he loved her dearly and that he respected the tradition of his culture (including the way women were viewed in their culture). But sometimes you need to be willing to keep an open mind and veer away from old traditions and I really felt like his love for her should've made him do that. But it didn't. He didn't change until he realized she was the new leader and that always bothered me because she'd tried so hard to please him and keep him from being sad.

Aww, totally. And it was so tragic. But then I kinda think there was always something so melancholy about Jen...her life was a bit sad throughout the series...she had the conflict with her parents, the troubled childhood, inner turmoil and anguish, trust issues, problems forming relationships. Her having a happy ending would've been strange next to all that. What I find to be so sad about it too is that Jen spent her whole teen years really battling with her life and feelings and spirituality yet it wasn't until she had a child that things kinda came into focus for her. She had something that gave her whole confused life meaning and a purpose...and after finding that meaning she ends up dying. Omg, I'm gonna cry, it's so heartbreaking.

Btw, I was watching a video with interviews from the cast regarding the finale and Katie was saying that she loved the ending because she felt like Joey ended up with the right person. And Josh commented on how happy he was to "get the girl". Awww, I could gush on and on, lol

Totally rewatch season 6, just fast forward all of Dawson's scenes, lol.

Most of the time I love Jen. I love how she stands up to her grandma trying to get her into religion and being an atheist myself I can totally relate. The only time I don't like Jen is when she's agonizing about Dawson the way Dawson agonizes about Joey - having had your love and then letting her/him go. I want to tell them both to just GET OVER IT!

Hopefully I will be able to finish S2 tonight. From helps' and adias comments I take it that S3 and 4 are the best ones, so I have something to look forward to!

Her eyes and facial expressions get me. She's doe-eyed, with this innocence and naivety as if she's taking everything in. I love that about little Joey Potter.

It pains me to think Katie ended up with Tom Cruise and in Scientology.

I think it was somewhere during S2 of Supernatural when Dean said they should go to Hollywood because "a girl's been abducted by an evil cult. Her name's Katie Holmes." It was hilarious and bittersweet at the same time.
random thought: Jensen must have met Katie on set of DC, but I don't think they had much, if any, scenes together.

I normally don't wish divorce for anyone but this is actually one relationship I'm praying will come to an end. It's literally one of the most unhealthy and heartbreaking relationships I've seen in a bit because Katie has turned into such a different person since Tom, and it's not for the better at all.

From what I remember about the Tom/Nicole split, he filed it in under 10 years (it was like 9 years and 11 months or something). Under California law, a 10-year marriage is considered long term and you can get spousal support for an extended time (I forget how the money gets split under 10 years of marriage but I know you don't get as much). That divorce was, for me, the moment I realized I didn't like Tom. Also, I've read that he really tried to get Nicole to convert to Scientology but she wouldn't (smart girl). She stayed Catholic. The divorce was the best thing that could've happened for Nicole in terms of her career because she came out of her husband's shadow and ended up with a freakin' Oscar (something he never got). I'd be concerned about Katie and her child but Nicole split from Tom with two children (albeit they were adopted) so Katie would be able to take care of her child as well.

Yeah, it's funny until I realize that it's someone's actual life and that there are family and friends who care about her and miss her. Then it's just sad. Josh Jackson was talking about it in an interview and even he seemed sad about it, what's become of her.

i´m not in doubts that for her grandfather it was hard,too....but he was so cold to her...i dunno,but still she was so sweet and it was so hear braking when she wanted to make him happy....and he still didnt show her how much he loves her...

yes,that´s true....i was sorry about her because she never had peaceful life...how you mentioned she had problematic relationship with her parents and then at first with grams,but more then she had problems with guys etc...and her past followed her...that she died was kinda cruel,cause for her i would wanna happy ending with Jack on the beach,lol...and with little Amy in her arms...it would be amazing to see her happy for once....

and you both are right about Tom girls...i just cant believe that she ended up with him....he´s such a insane...i would never let him treat me as he treats with Katie...poor girl...i think she really should leave cause after she married with him,she stopped to play in movies and is less outside between people,imo....as mentioned calena it can be because of child of course,but still Suri is enough old,i guess....i bet that it´s all because of tom.....
