I guess Charlie and Joey wouldnt mind me,but how you mentioned there was too much Joīs scenes in 5th season and for me there wasnt enough friendship for which i was used to watch in previous seasons....then what bother me in season 5 was that they separated Jen and Jack...ooh man how i was happy that they will be together live in Boston etc but then.... and then what i liked, too, although i know that Dawson had really some crappy moments,i liked his friendship with Joey...at least at first..itś kind of personal experience for me,cause i have one boy who is my neighbour since my childhood and weīre(were rather) best friends...so maybe i sometimes looked at Dawson and Joey and saw my childhood,lol...i know it may sounds crazy... i just wanna say that first four seasons were lovely and heart breaking and they subscribed into my heart somehow...but then it was sooo different in 5th and 6th season... | Senior Member | ARGH!!! I'm almost done with episode 6 but I had to stop it 'cause I'm like going crazy! For one, I want Dawson to die. Like seriously, I can't take him anymore. He sleeps with Joey while dating another woman! Are you freakin' kidding me?! And he's the guy she's been pining after all these years?! He's supposed to be her friend yet what he did was so horrible and a million times worse than anything she could have ever done to him. And it really freakin' pisses me off like you just don't know when that skank Natasha tells Dawson she feels bad for him 'cause Joey hurt him. WTF?! Joey didn't screw Dawson while dating another guy. Joey didn't scream on Dawson while he was dating Jen or Eve or Natasha or Gretchen and try to force him to chose between her and those girls. No, those are things Dawson did. He's the most selfish, self-absorbed bastard I've ever seen in my life and watching Joey get all sullen and emo over him just makes me want to slap her repeatedly. She has been a friend to Dawson and more than proven her loyalty to him and the way he treats her is infuriating. And it does aggravate me that she frets so much over her relationship with Dawson when we never saw her get all weepy over the break-up with Pacey, who treated her better than Dawson ever could! And furthermore, it really enrages me to watch Dawson crap all over these females to go chase after the girl he wants in the moment and then get jealous and annoyed when he sees the girl he rejected moving on. He did it to Joey, claiming he was moving on from her to be with Eve yet got all pissed when Joey hooked up with Pacey. Now he's doing it with Natasha, dumping her on her voicemail after hooking up with Joey and then getting jealous when he sees Natasha with his boss. Dawson acts like he's entitled to have whatever he wants whenever he wants it. Who the hell does he think he is?! Don Juan-freakin DeMarco?! *exhales* Whew...ok...I'm feeling better now that I got that out. Quote:
And the reoccurring love triangle doesn't speak well at all and I actually cringed a bit when watching it 'cause I kept thinking omg they've already done this. And poor Pacey...every season (except season 4) he's having to say the same thing to both Dawson and Joey over and over again: to move on and give it up. Quote:

And on Jensen: So...at first I liked him. He seemed okay and I loved how he pushed that guy that was blocking Jen aside to go help her rescue Audrey. But now...I'm not so sure about him. I don't trust him. I had a moment where I thought he was gay when he showed up with that guy. But now I'm worried he's either a womanizer or abusive or maybe has some type of STD or something, lol. I don't know but I don't think I want Jen and him together. I am kinda pissed off at Jack though for not telling Jen what he knows about C.J. so far (that he's not interested and that his friend thinks she'd be better off not hooking up with him). And Audrey....geez, she's like a train derailing right now. Pacey so needs to break up with her. Long post, long post - but a lot of thoughts EDIT: Omg! Audrey slapping Pacey was so freakin' uncalled for! Relationships don't always work and at least he wasn't trying to be a jerk about it. She's such a mess right now and frankly Pacey deserves more than her drama.

| I just finished S2 episode "The Reluctant Hero" and for the first time I totally melted. How Pacey helped with Andie's mum, getting her out of the grocery store, was sooooo sweet! ![]() Although we all agree that Dawson is annoying and selfish I liked him for getting Jen out of this weird abusive sitution with that rich guy who likes to get her drunk and humiliate her.

| Senior Member | What's up with this forum today? The page looks weird! Whatevs...so I finished watching every episode of Dawson's Creek this weekend! Gotta say, I cried so bad on the last few eps of season 6 but that finale....there were little crumpled up tear soaked tissues all around my laptop on that finale. I had heard that someone died on the show in the end, but I just figured it would be Grams. It being Jen was totally a gut-wrenching blow, especially since she had a baby. (Btw, was that baby C.J.'s? I'm assuming it was which makes me really not like Jensen's character) As for the whole Dawson/Joey/Pacey thing. When Joey came to the restaurant and Pacey scooped her up and hugged her, swinging her around I was so grinning. But then Dawson walked up and I actually screamed out loud, "OMG, not again!" They really dragged that love triangle throughout the entire series and it was a bit annoying because Joey and Dawson together never really made sense to me. He was her childhood friend and nothing more...the fact that she had liked him was merely, imo, because she'd shared so much of her life with him and felt closer to him than to anyone else. But her heart was with Pacey and thankfully she came to her senses, lol. That scene with Pacey and Joey on the dance floor...*exhales* magic. ![]() I like how they had the whole "The Creek" tv series thing going on in it too. And in terms of storylines, I think Pacey had the BEST storyline of season 6. Maybe I'm saying that because I LOVE Pacey but he really did act the hell out of that story and show his maturity. I knew that stock thing wasn't going to turn out well and I was expecting possibly some legal drama to arise but him investing his and Dawson's money into it was intense. As was his fight with his boss! I actually screamed out loud when Pacey pushed him and he hit the computer. And that storyline did allow everything to come full circle with him and Dawson and Joey right back on Dawson's lawn, just like the scene in the "The Longest Day" episode...only years later. That was so sad. In response to helps and Calena: Pacey did humiliate Joey when they broke up (though I still don't think the real Pacey would've done that) so I could understand them being apart. But, helps you're right, because he did apologize and he told her that he missed her after it had happened and she said she missed him so I really felt like they should've been able to talk it out. And I was totally willing to forgive Pacey for what he did because it was a one-time occurrence and you could see that he spent years after that still feeling remorse for his actions. In the Castaways episode, he really broke my heart when he said to Joey, "I know where this road ends", almost as if he was recalling that prom break up moment. Dawson crapped over Joey and Pacey all the time. He was so unforgiven, even up until the very end. When Pacey came to him to tell him about the money, he basically acted like he expected Pacey to screw up because that's just what he is in life. I wanted to punch him in the face. Pacey made a mistake. He did something really stupid but with the best intentions at heart and Dawson making the comment to Joey about her taking Pacey's side kicked up some serious rage in me at Dawson. IRL, Dawson and Joey's friendship would've ended a long time ago. And as for Jack and Jen: Jen's ending was sad but I didn't like the way the story ended for Jack either. I think the show was always trying to hook him up with someone. I like that Dougie ended up being gay because Pacey had been saying it all along, but I don't think I really wanted to see him and Jack sitting on the beach, deciding to raise Jen's child together. I kinda wanted to see Jack on his own...that bittersweet moment of him losing his soulmate and friend but left to take care of her child. And I loved Pacey in Reluctant Hero too. I actually really loved how he treated Andie and her family as a whole. He was in the episode where Andie really broke down too...I think it was the Ch..Ch..Changes ep.

Hehe, I actually giggled when he did that and I like never giggle, lol. And Joey's face when he did it, she was grinning from ear-to-ear. Aye, did you block season 6 out of your memory? Lol. Well...it has been a bit since it aired, 'cause I'm late watching it Quote:

| I watched the 2 eps of Jack's coming out the day before yesterday (Yesterday I had a girls night out, so no DC). I have to say, not once was Dawson annoying in that whole 2 eps, when you leave aside that it's not nice to make a movie out of Joey's life. It's understandable that she's not comfortable with having her obsession for Dawson captured on film for the whole world to see. But other than that Dawson was there for Joey for a change before and after Jack broke the news. Pacey is as great as always. By that point in the second season the writers probably deeple regretted not calling the show Pacey's Creek and making it more about him. I can't believe Jensen's character left a dying Jen who a child from him! ![]()
