Default I Love Lucy VS. any new show .... test

Okay, do any of you think to yourself when seeing some of these absurd new shows "hmmm I would rather watch I Love Lucy" ?

You probably have to in your 20s or older to feel that way, because they have been showing it less and less these days it seems.

Nevertheless, there was a time when any kid home "sick" from school could spend hours upon hours watching I LOVE LUCY and never get tired of it. 50 plus years later and it still can crack you up laughing your ass off....amazing stuff.

Now I see the "Today" show is 4 ... yes 4 hours long each morning.... "joy" how lucky we are for this superb form of entertainment.

To quote a line from Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein" ...."You are talking about the nonsensical ravings of a lunatic mind"....

that is the bubblegum for the soul that 4 hours of Today show must be dishing out to accomplish 4 hours of tv per day.

Just give me some I LOVE LUCY...and I'll be a happy camper and watch diligently. I don't even have to be in the to see it, I just can listen while I work in another room ..it's not like I haven't seen every episode 1001 times over and can see it playing in my mind.

So...every time I see pure sh..t on tv now..I just perform the "I LOVE LUCY" test.... and say to myself.....

"Just cancel this miserable show already and put some I Love Lucy reruns on and I bet it will do better than the multi million dollar piece of crap artistic media work that you are playing for me now"

Just a thought..
