What not one post in the Tim Riggins thread?

I recently started watching FNL, and much to my surprise got hooked, and watched both season in about a week. I expected OTH with football and was pleasantly surprised. I am impressed with the 3dimensional characters on the show and like almost all of them, but my favourite has to be Riggs. Not because he is hot, of coure he is, but that alone would not make him extraordinary in TV-land. I find the contrast between how he has given up for himself, expecting nothing much from people, but on the other hand is a knight in shining armor when it comes to other people. I do hope he'll get a scholarship in a decent college.

I also want to add, why is Moonlight a top level show (it got cancelled) and FNL isn't?
