Connie Britton, Friday Night LightsIn honor of Mother's Day, BuddyTV has compiled this list of our 10 favorite motherly moments.

An important and difficult part in raising a child is the sex talk. How does a mother talk to her daughter about sex without sounding like a total prude? Might I suggest sitting your daughter down in front of a TV and popping in “I Think We Should Have Sex,” an episode from the first season of Friday Night Lights.

You should of had the clip for that scene. Not everybody watches FNL. But it sounds like a cool scene.

The fact that Connie Britton didn't get nominated for an Emmy is a travesty.

Sadly, NBC is cracking down on YouTube clips, so I couldn't find this scene. But everyone should seek out that episode in one way or another (soon to be on BTV, now at NBC or Hulu).

Connie is a scene stealer, she deserves an Emmy nomination. The scenes with her and Kyle arguing are fantastic, it seems like neither is listening to the other but their conversations change to include what the other was talking about. Great writing.
