Friday Night Lights: Episode 2.8 "Seeing Other People" Recap

Previously on Friday Night Lights, Tim, needing a place to stay, moves in with Guy, the ferret guy. Eric shows signs of jealousy over Tami's friendship with Glenn. Carlotta, the nurse, teaches Matt how to dance for Pantherama performance, and Landry tells Tyra about his dad setting the car on fire.

This episode begins with the Panthers getting killed on the football field. Everyone is ticked off except for Smash. He's flying high and gloating about his upcoming recruiting trip. Tami's sister, Shelly, calls Tami's attention to Julie being at the game with her teacher.

What was the song that played near the end? The artist?

The song was "I Made a Resolution" by Sea Wolf. This was another great episode, and FNL is back. I'm so invested that I was so upset when Tami and Eric fought, glad they made up (also, it's very nice structurally for Tami to blame Eric of the same thing she did with Noah and Julie). Loved Smash's R. Kelly, "Trapped in the Closet" moment, and Riggs' apology. This show is just so damn good.

Late to the commenting game as usual, but I didn't like this episode as much. Well, okay, I loved the Smash part, and I loved the Coach and Tami part, and I kind of loved Julie's freak out, and I always love me some Riggs. But I didn't like that Matt was getting with Saracen! No, no, no!
