What age group are you Itachi? Because some of the jokes on that show are more aimed at the older viewers.... some are not suitable for kids or for a younger audience! My kid watches this show too and totally ignores the jokes he doesn't yet get.... I screen eps first before he views them for unsuitable content... I have only had to ban him from watching one ep to date....

What jokes did you not get in the show?

Some of the references fly over my head. For instance, I had to look up who Sebastian Coe was, from the ep. where the drunken clam got turned into a british pub. There have been others, can't think of any right now tho.

Seb Coe is one of UK's most famous Ex Athletes... He turned MP [Member Of Parliament] a few years back.... He's always there but never seems to do an awful lot.... When you mention Britishness, many do know who he is on that basis....

I agree though, they do tend to mention random names .... like Donny & Marie in an ep I watched last week.... So funny, I had tears rolling down my face ... cause it showed a clip of them in bed as lovers.... but in reality, they were sugar sweet siblings Donny & Marie Osmond who did this long running family singing and dancing show when I was a kid.... they were always lying on some bed joking about.... totally innocent... as siblings do... I found it all so funny, yet my son didn't know who they were at all so hence the joke went right over his head....

Oh I dunno ... some ep with a bit too much adult orientated humour, not so well hidden as in most other eps.... I can't tell you what the ep was about as such, I just felt for my kid, it was just a bit too much!!!

My kid is 10.... He and I have a very good relationship where he asks me about anything he doesn't understand when he hears it either in daily life or on TV etc....
He has also had an early background in drama stuff... radio plays and musical work , more so.... so he is aware of what is real and what is not on most TV shows.... His Godmother is also a now retired Stunt lady who has worked in some big budget movies.... she's a few years out of it now though.... but in the case of cartoons, it's pretty much hit and miss with him.... The Simpsons, for example have mainly got plain eps that although have adult humour, it mostly goes over the head of a kid... I find this with family Guy too.... most of it, he howls with laughter at... some of it, occasionally is stuff he is not yet aware of ... fine balance.... I screen the eps first and then let him see them!!!
