Would family guy have not continued?

On september 11'th 2001, family creator Seth McFarlane was scheduled to be on American Airlines flight 11 - which later revealed to be the first plane to fly into the north tower.

Now seth would inevitably, died if he had been on this flight and wasn't late. Would anyone have picked family guy up? Or would it just not be a success and the simpsons would run the world?

It's not the case of picking it up, there would be no one to do the voices for Peter, Brian, Stewie and Quagmire, so no i doubt very much it would have continued.

Life would be hell with just Simpsons and American dad. We need some FG to live our lifes.
