Kate returned to the island to reuinite mother and child
Kate made Sun get on the helicotper thus protecting Suns Baby
Kate delivered assistance to Sawer's Baby
Kate made sure Little Ben did not die by taking him to the others.

What if the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 corespond to seat numbers on flight 815.

Jack was on seat 16, Anna Lucia was on seat 42.

What would have happened if Jack was in Anna seat and Lucia was in Jacks seat.

Jack would end up leading the tailsection and they may have done better, anna would have been "neutralized" by sayid and sawer, John would end up in control with kate as an advisior.

thats what i think.
