Entourage: Season 4 Premiere Review

If Entourage makes you laugh on a relatively consistent basis, than it has been a success. That's it. The show cannot, should not, be judged on anything else. The HBO comedy has never been about silly things like story or plot or drama (of the non-Johnny variety, that is) and so the way the show is ingested by its audience has remained simple, unfettered throughout the first three seasons. Considering Entourage's previous lack of ambition, last night's season four premiere was a huge risk. Never before had Entourage shown Vincent Chase filming a movie or had taken him and his crew out of the country.

This article would have been much more credible had you taken the time to spell "Medellin" correctly.

Actually, the episode was shot in LA on a studio backlot, the same place "¡Three Amigos!" was shot. And yeah, you probably should have spelled "Medellin" correctly. Hint: It's got creator Doug Ellin's name in it.

PLus, learn your "than" from your "then".

What's all this !@#!@ about? Who cares if he writes and 'e' or an 'i', or an 'a' or an 'e'? Get a life, morons.

I agree with you on the most things, but I think the mockumentary-thing was mostly wimpy and out-dated. It was great in The Office(both the British and the American version) and in those countless "rockumentaries", but hasn't it gotten a bit old by now? But otherwise, you pretty much summed it up. I never get tired of Johnny Drama, the funniest guy in the whole freakin show!

Btw, I know I'm a little late with this comment, but the fourth season hasn't even aired yet here in Sweden...

I am also watching reruns of the show. I decided to give it a try after hearing so much about it. I also received a free copy of season 4 from itunes. I am so excited about that.
