Dirty Sexy Money: Episode 8 "The Country House" Recap

Previously on Dirty Sexy Money: Karen got married for the fourth time, then got divorced an hour later. Reverend Brian had his illegitimate son taken away from him by the boy's mother. Juliet and Natalie Kimpton became BFFs again over Jeremy's objections. Patrick's wife found out about his transexual affair, but vowed to stand by him after setting up ground rules with Carmelita. Simon Elder continued to be an evil billionaire, aligning with Patrick, and Tripp and Nick teamed up to destroy him.

Nick (Peter Krause) and his wife are in bed, picking colors to paint the house, then he goes to work. First up, he deals with Tripp's vendetta against Simon Elder (Blair Underwood) for stealing Patrick (William Baldwin) away from him. Tripp (Donald Sutherland) wants him to arrange a sit-down with Patrick and Simon for Thanksgiving weekend. Patrick agrees, but only if Nick gets Carmelita to talk to Patrick's wife, Ellen. Then Nick gets Simon to agree.

Oh boy that was amazing ; the writing was so well done I couldn't believe my ears

It was really a great episode.
I particulary loved the intro with Brian, Jeremy and Karen having breakfast. it was very sweet and funny.
"You're the worst. Did you even go to law school??" => best line ever to me. The way Brian's looking at Nick is just hilarious. I've been saying it over and over again, but Glenn Fitzgerald is such a good actor!!
I can definitely understand that the writers want more money considering what kind of work they're able to do.

Glad I'm not the only one who is being constantly impressed by Glenn Fitzgerald. His performance is funny, yet sincere.

I couldn't believe the mother ... after the dirt she did to Trip with Nick's dad, now she's encouraging her daughter to be just as bad, or worse than she was? I hope Nick and his wife are strong enough to withstand it

I agree with u, ladytex01! She can really act like a bitch LoL. I actually was a little surprised.
I can't stand Lisa though...She doesn't trust her husband at all, so why did she marry him in the first place? She keeps on yelling at Nick. That's the only thing she does on the show. They need to give her a better plot.
