Samaire Armstrong stars in Dirty Sexy Money

Samaire Armstrong, who plays a character with substance abuse issues on Dirty Sexy Money, has checked into an outpatient facility, without citing any specific reason for the admission. A representative for the actress released a statement on Friday, October 12.

"Samaire Armstrong decided to enter an outpatient facility to deal with some personal issues in a therapeutic atmosphere and is doing very well," the representative said. "She continues to work on her show and will be completing her treatment in a matter of weeks.”

Her character on DSM does not have substance abuse issues. She's a bit spoiled and self absorbed, but not an addict... her twin brother on the show has been shown to do more illicit substances.

I wouldn't have thought that from Samaire Armonstrong! I thought she was quit fine, but who cares anyway...as long as she keeps on working well on the show!
