You will see a little more of him outside of this season though. I'd go with the right now version to your problem . I need to work on my patience ...lol...I would want them NOW!!
I had a fair idea fairly quick into meeting his character.... TBH, he looked killer material from the beginning.... The thought did cross my mind earlier on that such a relationship may exist when I was trying to work out killer, but I dismissed it way too early... silly me.... funny enough, I had the sister down more as a killer at one stage... she looked like a right fruit loop....

Regarding getting the DVD's .... When I came off here earlier today, I had a call or two to make and then after one of them, became so focussed on sorting something out, I then went into unpacking more boxes, still unpacked from my house move about four weeks ago.... I started filling up all those drawers, wardrobes etc... I have been busy putting together from flat packed over the last two weeks...I have only just stopped now.... so in truth, never did get to watch any more TV.... first box I opened was yet another box full of CD's and tapes so I just played them non stop today as I kept myself busy.... Anyway.... can't spend yet another day away from Dexter S2 now... must go to store, and see if I can pick them up tomorrow....

So I assume by your above comment on Mark Pellegrino.... He is not yet fully done in Dexter then!!! Oh that's good news.... I thought his was a cracking character.... would be good to see more of him & Dexter together argueing over Harry's Code... or what ever it is....

See, this is the best thing about watching a show from the start that is a few seasons in already.... by now, the gloss of a new show is done with and only really hardened fans remain....

@Calena..... Please do give it a go... it's a good show.... I would think you might very well get the point of it, as a show.... It's not all blood and guts... more a thinking person's show, with a bit of interesting gore.....

I have to disagree with you Pushtrak . While season 2 was far better than season one I personally found season 3 to be lacking. Not in a way that would put me off from the series. I just did not enjoy it as much as the other seasons and HATED the character Miguel . Ok I am going to stop now as not to spoil Smiley.
I'm kind of glad I have come into this show quite blind.... got to see the show right from the start without much build up.... Ages ago, I did sit down one night, late... to watch one random ep from one of the seasons of the show.... and all I saw him do was stand by bodies on a street for most of it.... I got the idea that he himself was killing these bodies and leaving them there himself.... [it was very late and I WAS really tired that night... not paying much attention as I hoped..] Anyway... now I have start of story, I have the gaps filled or at least some of them filled.... making the story more enjoyable....

OK... I'll stop now, or I will only talk myself into going down to the 24 hour Asda's Superstore nearby, within a minute or two to pick S2 up now!!! LOL..... And then I'll be up all night watching another few hours of TV.....

Good .... as you too are a newbie of the show, we should talk about the eps!!! There may be various threads already set up on here covering certain aspects of the show... I just thought I'd open this one as a base for newbies to start!!!
I have to admit though, that show has pleasantly taken me by surprise... it was better then I had expected it to be.... characters both hated and loved by me at the same time.... I still haven't got round to picking up season 2 in store... will do so before weekend and watch some more over weekend... Seriously, you have to clear hours for this show....you can't watch just one or two at a time.... you need to watch about 5 in a row just cause you'll want to ... you'll almost feel like it's duty!!!

It's good to see more people getting on the Dexter train. I might actually have people on here to discuss with when the show comes back this fall.

I hope to be all caught up with it by then, I don't know how I missed it the first time it was on... probably on too late at night or maybe clashed with some other show... I'll be happy to be back on here in Autumn for discussions!

Like you though, Drama, I am trying to get True Blood forums off the ground too... the show has just premiered over on some weird TV channel here in UK thus making it not that assassible to people other then if you know it's there to seek it out.... but I'll give it a go....

Oh I am housebound with a sick Mini Me and the biggest part of me ever is so wanting to get straight down to store to buy S2.... and 3....etc.... LOL....

Just bought S2 online.... Yes indeed I gave into temptation....
A day or two and I'll be more up to speed....

It's easy to miss . It's not really advertised much except on the network that it comes on . That is a pay channel so , nt everyone gets it. They did play the first season on CBS during the writers strike (edited of course for violence and language) . I dunno if they will ever air the rest. I think they just did it to fill space.

I watch True Blood. Not one of my favorites and it took me a long time to actually like the show. I dunno , it's weird at first I think . It takes some getting used to. We are on season 2 here . I suppose you are just getting one?

True Blood only premiered here in UK last week on some forgotten channel on SKY TV... It's just on it's second ep this coming friday... S2 is not out here on DVD yet for another while.... and I think that S1 is just out a while!
i tried to watch it last week but couldn't really get into it.... also unlike SPN it's not a show my Mini Me could watch... it's a bit more adult orientated for him!!
I am giving it another go this week...

Dexter arrives tomorrow or latest friday... I am sooooooooo excited .... really want to spend a whole day lost to that show...

What did you think of the first episode ? I remember it getting rave reviews and I was left thinking 'Were we all watching the same show here' ...lol. It took me about 6 eps to embrace it and I still don't think I have fully embraced it . It's just that there is nothing else on so why not ..haha.

Yeah Mini Me can def not watch ..too much skin going on.

Oh yaay! Season 2 is by far my favorite. I just had a marathon the other weekend to catch my Aunt up so it's still all fresh in my mind. Season 2 IMO is the best one so far.

Glad that your enjoying it. It's one of my favorite show. Dexter is one of the best tv characters ever!

I think season 1 is the best season 3 second best and my least favorite is season 2.

I HATED Lyla I can't stand her... I loved Miguel unlike many others. I think he was an awesome character.

That said all seasons are still amazing

Oh I hated lila too ....so much , but I liked so many other things about season 2 that she just didn't seem to matter in the big picture.
