Last year Dexter was on NBC. Why is it on Showtime only this year. ?
Was looking for it Sunday night. Does anyone know.

They replayed season 1 on NBC as a filler because of the writer's strike. They are actually on season 3 on showtime.

i have to satisfied with ladytex01 but i had watch Dexter TV Shows on previous week . at that time it was not so popular.

Dexter is a sociopath, someone with no human feelings and hence no natural, inner moral compass, and he has an unquenchable blood lust that drives him to kill. But he had the great grace to have been the adopted child of a police officer, who (as we see in terrific flashbacks) successfully instilled in him a complete moral code, which he adheres to on a strictly intellectual level. This is an utterly brilliant concept (which I assume derives from the novels it's based on), one that allows the writers to explore the nature of moral behavior and of what it means to be human.

Haha I'm surprised they show movies like this but its kinda weird and cool at the same time.

Dexter is a crime based drama series that premiered on the Showtime Cannel on 1st October 2006. The series is based on the novels Darkly Dreaming Dexter, Dearly Devoted Dexter and Dexter in the Dark which were written by Jeff Lindsay.I like this tv show and very enjoy it.

Season one was aired on CBS, not NBC.

This was done because of the writer's strike which was going on at the time.

Don't expect season two to air on a major network. They would have to cut out every scene with Jaime Murray in it.

and who wants that?
