I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that they ripped off OTH

It does sound like they did copy OTH. I don't know why they would jump 5 years into the future when everybody is grown up and not in school. They could of maybe jumped a year but that doesn't seem like a good decision either. I liked how OTH did it so that we don't have to watch them at college but DH did not have that so it doesn't make sense.

loved the season finale... will have to wait and see what they do in season 5. . I'm 50/50 with the 5 year jump. lol... Work Marcia Cross!! You are OVAH!!!

Uhhh, hello? Doesn't any body watch Lost? Another ABC series? You know, the hatch, the Others etc?

This was no "time-jump". The writers have let slip that they will be relying on a occasional "flash-forward" format. A la Lost.

Which surprises me even more why Lost isn't mentioned in the article. Last year's Lost season finale's last minutes were also a "flash-forward" which laid the foundations for the rest of the season.

If anything, having a two-minute flash-forward in the last two minutes remind me of Lost. And definitely not a "time-jump". There isn't one!!

well who knows really but the dh finale was amazing. and you dont know it when dh returns it could be the best decision marc cherry has ever made! shouldnt judge something when its only been on for 3 MINUTES!
