Desperate Housewives: Will Edie Return to Wisteria Lane?

At the end of Sunday's episode of Desperate Housewives, Edie packed up and left Wisteria Lane, which surprised many viewers. Well, sort of. For some time now, rumors have swirled that Nicollette Sheridan, who plays the sexy realtor, will be leaving ABC's award-winning dramedy. Though both the network and Sheridan's publicist, Nicole Perna, have been tightlipped in response to inquiries about the actress' imminent departure, show creator Marc Cherry already hinted that Sheridan's character will be crossing a huge moral boundary that she's never crossed before on the show.

Who will take Nicollette Sheridan's place for Season 5 of "Desperate Housewives"? The way I see it, there are several candidates: Denise Richards, Carmen Electra, Angie Harmon, Terry Farrell and Rachel Blanchard. Which candidate, do you think, will be Nicollette Sheridan's replacement?

Hooray, I don't think she'll be as missed as she thinks. Terry Farrell would be a good fit.

she wont b missed at all she only caused dramas betweeen the show

I am sure the show would be just fine without her. I hope for anything Denise Richards will not be on the show. I can't stand her. And she is not a good actress either.

I will miss her because she was so hilarious and has her drama too!!! I love her and cherry should bring her back the next season!!
