|   When Desperate Housewives returned after a three-month hiatus, several new faces have surfaced in Wisteria Lane. Among those characters is Wayne Davis, portrayed by Gary Cole, who immediately stirred some controversy when he was briefly introduced as Katherine Mayfair's (Dana Delany) thought-to-be-dead ex-husband. Though some viewers would expect the latest ex-husband hunk to create havoc by jumping on and off the bedroom merry-go-round on the ABC dramedy, Cole reveals otherwise.
