Default 8/19/08-8/26/08 Torchwood Yearbook Contest

Torchwood is the action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled sci-fi series from the BBC, following the adventures of a team of investigators, working for the secret organization Torchwood, who use scavenged alien technology in a struggle to contain the mysterious and deadly challenges thrown at them through a space/time continuum Rift. The team, led by the enigmatic, ever-watchful Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman, reprising his Doctor Who role in this spin-off from the legendary series), is separate from the government, outside the police and beyond the United Nations.

BuddyTV is excited to announce that we've got five copies of Torchwood: The Official Magazine Yearbook, published by Titan Books. The Yearbook is a full-color official tie-in to the much-loved and top-rated show, containing behind-the-scenes secrets from the Hub, cast and crew interviews and five exclusive new Torchwood short stories.

For more information, see these links:

To enter to win a copy, reply to this thread with your answer to the question, "What is your favorite BBC America show, and why?"

You have until Tuesday, August 26 at noon ET to reply. At that time, the thread will be closed and all five winners will be chosen at random.

Best of luck!

I say Top Gear as well (although it's a tough choice with Doctor Who re-running on that channel!). I absolutely love the "challenges" the three men are given, they are hilarious!!

My favorite BBC America show is "Hex" because it has supernatural elements such as witchcraft. I find shows like these fascinating. I was a big "Charmed", "Buffy" and "Angel" and a huge fan of "Supernatural".

Is Bad Girls a BBC show? Love Helen the prison warden, she's so conflicted. If not I heart Hex.

Smile Torchwood Yearbook Contest

My favorite BBC America show is Torchwood because I love Captain Jack and his crew. They get to save the world each week and that is cool.

I also love Dr. Who and the repeats are great to watch.

Oh I think I will most definitely have to say Doctor Who!
(With Rose, not a big fan of Martha)

Seasons one and two (Finale, so sad ) were the best...
The Doctor is just a brilliant character!

Especially when he says 'Fantastic'

Arrow 8/19/08-8/26/08 Torchwood Yearbook Contest

My favourite 'BBC America' show.. well I have 2.. its a choice between:

"Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" , and
"Top Gear"

I love cars and good food so its a tough choice.. I like how Gordon tells it like it is on Kitchen Nightmares.. and I love the car reviews and tests on Top Gear.

Both shows rock!! lol
