8/12/08-8/19/08 Autographed Heroes Comic Book Contest

Heroes, the comic book, illustrated by the late Michael Turner, is an exclusive comic for the 2008 San Diego Comic Con. The comic includes four stories that reveal more about the Heroes Universe. The stories focus on the back stories of Mohinder Suresh, Echo De Mille (the main character of the new Heroes webisode series), and Adam Monroe (Takezo Kensei).

BuddyTV has TEN copies of the comic book and each one has been autographed by Heroes creator Tim Kring himself! Wow!

To enter to win an autographed comic book, reply to this thread with your answer to the question, "What extremely useless but extremely fun super power do you wish you had and why?" We've already discussed to death the kinds of useful superpowers we all want, but I want to change it up a bit and make it more lighthearted.

This contest is in promotion of the "Create Your Hero" campaign which as you may remember was a partnership between Heroes and Sprint that had fans pick attributes for the next Hero. Well, it's getting down to the wire, and there are only two choices left: Santiago from Lima who has the power to accelerate probability versus Audrey from Paris who has the power to affect the speed of other people.

You can vote for the next Hero you want to see, Santiago or Audrey, at NBC's Create Your Hero website (http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/create_your_hero/), and the winning character will appear as the subject of a brand new Live Action web series written by the creators of Heroes, debuting around the November sweeps week.

The coolest super power to have would be not dis-similar to Hiro's; which would be to jump anywhere in time. I wouldn't want to "stop" time rather I would jump back and forth between recorded history and the eventual future. Of course like Hiro nothing is set in stone, so the future would change based on what happened in the past. And I would totally try to meet John Titor.

Btw I so need a copy of one of those comics!!!!!

I would have to say x-ray vision. looking through walls isn't that useful in very day life, unless you want to spy on people. but the fun part of having that power is that you get to spy on people.

Transform things in food!!! yeah. I want to make food with objects (but obviously only if I want) to eat all the time that I want, and share with my friends a delicious dishes... and give to all the poor people... I know that is crazy, but that IS the Superpower that I want

I would have to go with having an eidetic memory which would be handy when taking exams at school. But if you are looking for something even more useless then how about being able to speak every oddball language out there. I'm not talking the major ones like English, French, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese... I mean Klingon, Romulan, Elmer Fudd, Binary... be a neat party trick I'm sure...

hmmm... extremely useless superpower.... would have to say being able to walk through walls and stuff... ha... would save time, not having to open doors right? haha yup extremely useless but would come in handy

hmmm... a extremely useless superpower.. i would have to say that the super power of my choice would be the ability to use teleporting i mean come on my freind everyone has a bad hair or the car breaks down the wife want's a long deep discussion or the girlfreind on where the relationship is heading for one thing the superpower of teleporting would be the answer to all those if you were late for work and don't have enough time to make something you could get dress tele to a food van get a quickie and then tele to your office before your boss even notice's that you weren't there in the first place or if the wife wants a talk tele her with you to france and romance the pants off her that should solve you problems there with the girlfreind you tele her to a exotic fantsty place of her's example to italy..

Strange thing with the answers above I do not think they would be useless powers. Before I give my answer I will respond to answers already given.

1) Ability to jump back or forward in time you could use that to see how something works out or warn people.

2) X Ray vision could be used to see if therre are any of your enemies are around or if you are looking for something.

3) Transform things into food. Well this can be used to either to keep yourself and or others with you from straving and maybe even eating your way out of a trap or somewhere locked up.

4) Walking through walls again you could use this if your trapped or to unlock a locked door someone is behind or maybe to get something you need.

5) Teleporting could again help you escape or maybe even get somewhere alot quicker or if you were in a dangerous situation leaving.

As for mine I have 2 and as far as I know their is no limit to entries so the first is the ability to grow blue fur like Beast in the X Men.

My second response is and I apologize if only one entry is allowed but if thats the case I did not know so please do not disqualify me. The ability to decrease my weight anywhere up to 25% of my total weight.

I think the power of telekenisous would be totally awesome. But I would never do a Sylar and use it to cut peoples heads off.
