| Weeds is back for another season! Yay! To celebrate this, BuddyTV has three copies of season 3 of Weeds on DVD to give away! To enter to win a copy, reply to this thread with your answer to the question, "Would you do something illegal to support your family? If so, where would you draw the line? If not, why not?" You have until Tuesday, July 1 to reply. At that time, the thread will be closed and three winners will be chosen at random. ![]()

| "Would you do something illegal to support your family? If so, where would you draw the line? If not, why not?" Probably not... seeing as though my hubby is in law enforcement.. and plus I'm a terrible liar. I'm also such a wimp... I still feel guilty from shoplifting a hair clip from target when I was in high school. |

| Moderator ![]() | If there were no other option I would. I mean you can't let your family go hungry and homeless so, whatever it takes, right? I don't think I would kill anyone. That would be where I draw the line.

| To support my family? Sure. I care about them and don't want to see them suffer. I definitely wouldn't kill anyone, though, or even badly hurt them (unless it was for self defense...) |

| No, I wouldn't do anything illegal to support my family. Doing so would probably affect someone else negatively. Also, I don't think my family would want me doing anything like that. Only in extreme circumstances (i.e. If anyone's life was on the line), would I break the law for my family. |

| Member | certainly not! im not the kind of person who will do something illegal even to support my family. illegal action will only cause more trouble to me and my family. so in any kind of situation i will find a legal way rather than illegal. |

| No... I would never do something illegal... No matter what the reason is... Why do something illegal to be the supporter by risking going to jail and having your family lose their supporter... You're basically ruining your family There is always another way

| Senior Member | Doing something illegal to support my family would be pointless because first of all, it would set a bad example to all my little cousins and second, my so called family, doesn't really give a flying F about me right now so I'm not in the "supporting" mood. Now if it was to support my friends, then I woud do just about anything, short of killing someone, or selling my body to the night...Roooxanne!!! |

| Member | i would do anything for my family, they are my life. it would depend on the situation though. if my family was SEVERELY struggling, lets say if they had no money for a home or for food, clothes and other necessities then i think i would be willing to do something illigal but i wouldnt have it be too risky. i would never murder anyone, or become a prostitute and even selling drugs is a stretch. but like i said, it all depends on the situation my family is in. |

| Doing something illegal to support my family would probably be very tempting, but ultimately I don't think I could do it--the risk would be too much. |
