| The Sex and the City movie just hit theaters this weekend. This hit HBO show spawned a gaggle of lookalikes, two of which premiered this year: Cashmere Mafia and Lipstick Jungle. Now, I have seen both of these shows, which are both about a group of high-powered Manhattan women who like to dish about jobs and men over girly cocktails, and I have to say that I much prefer Lipstick Jungle. Lipstick Jungle is based on a novel by Candace Bushnell of Sex and the City fame, and stars Brooke Shields, Kim Raver and Lindsay Price. And Lipstick Jungle is the one that is actually coming back in the fall (RIP, Cashmere Mafia), so it wouldn't hurt to bone up on the first season in case you missed it. BuddyTV has ONE copy to give away. To enter to win, reply to this thread with your answer to the question "Which drama about women do you like best: Sex and the City, Desperate Housewives, Lipstick Jungle, Cashmere Mafia, etc. etc.? Why?" You have until Tuesday June 10 at noon ET. At that time, the thread will be closed and the winner will be selected randomly. Best of luck! ![]()

| As strange as it I would have to say LJ while all shows mentioned I enjoy I think in someways all the other shows are somewhat unrealistic LJ features women a little bit more realistically plus its the only show where I have seen everyone in the main cast in other shows before this so I knew it would be a show witrh a good cast. |

| Definitely Desperate Housewives, because not only are the characters very interesting, but each season has a mysterious storyline which makes the show what it is. I can't wait to see what happens next!

| Y'know I am an original Sex & the City viewer, back when the series first debuted and it was like as I grew older, Sex grew older with me and I loved it. I mourned it after it was gone, ha. But now with Lipstick Mafia, I have a newer version of Sex. At a place that I am closer in my life now. Its like SATC, version 2.0. Same clever writing, good fashion and interesting storylines. Plus, Im reading the book now and it is just as good. Im excited its coming back! |

| The L Word. The characters just seem very realistic, and I've never seen this kind of show before. It's also hilarious! Especially the fifth season. |

| I've got to go with Sex and the City on this one. Not only was it the original, but it was undeniably the best of the bunch - the one that the others can only model themselves after, but never quite replicate. Sex and the City was just incredibly well written - witty, funny - and really developed 4 distinct characters that we all loved to death (also evidenced by the movie's incredible success)! |

| Desperate Houswives- if Knots' Landing and Dynasty had a child in 2004 Desperate Houswives would be that child. It's an over the top story of a nosy cul de sac with unique characters. |
