Here's good luck to me.. although i know its impossible lol.. here it goes..

what has been the best season of Supernatural for me would be season 2..

it started off with the most suspense element of all, that is the winchester's survival. we were left to think who will survive the crash? Dean, sam or John? and bam! the most angstiest beginning episode for any series ever, a dead father who died saving his son. All thoughts about how John is a bad father, bringing up the kids as soldiers flew off the window because despite what people perceived or sam in season 1 for that matter, John did the best he could and he did what not many fathers could ever do.. make a deal, his soul for his son's life.. and the opening does not only give us a tragic touching storyline, it opens a new world to supernatural, a world in which john knew who the demon was and what was his plan, but he can only whisper in coded words to his son.. so Yeah, to me the opening on season 2 marks the best opening a serie could ever have.

However, it doenst end there.. the motion of the story moves on, and we see how dean carried the burden of his dad's words, carried the burden of knowing his dad died for him, and we see sam beginning to see dad in a different light and he tried to be there for his broken brother.. we were shown in a scene through sam's eyes how worried he was that dean is willing to make a deal to bring his father back.. needless to say, the emotional surrounding Dean is well packed in season 2..

But that's not all, the stories weaved around the special kids, sam's destiny, and we see how sam tried to deal with John's last words and we even get a glimpse of evil!sam.. that itself is another bonus point for season 2.. another well packed freaky storyline for sam winchester.. but that's not all, among all the attention on mythology arc surrounding the special kids, the yellow eyed demon, the writers still manage to slip in more angst when sam after sooo long get his chance to get laid by beautiful madison only to have that kind of normalcy, that sort of happiness taken away, ripped away.. how crappy can a person's life get.. well that is the definition for sam winchester's life and its all shown in season 2..

What about luck you say? well luck is never on the winchester's side, not in winchester's dictionary.. the worst could ever happen, happened in season 2.. the person that dean lives for, the only reason why he still stay alive died... Died in the battle of the special children.. that takes season 2 to its peak!

But unlike all other series, the writer wraps up the storyline of the yellow eye demon.. never leave it open way tooo long.. Not many series can do that.. but supernatural did it.. and they did it sooo well for season 2...

So after sooo much, i gotta say, Yup season 2, the rollercoaster ride of winchester is best portrayed there. so season 2 it is.

Season One was the best season in my opinion: introduction to Sam and Dean Winchester, urban legends and classic rock- who could ask for anything more!
