My favourite season of Supernatural would be Season 2. I love every episode from every season but I think Season 2 was a standout. So much happened, John made a deal with the yellow eyed demon to save Dean, the devils gate was opened and Dean made a deal with the crossroads demon to save Sam. Jensen and Jared's acting was brilliant (as it always is). I love the show so much, Deans sarcastic wit, Sam's reactions to Deans jokes, the special effects, the music the impala, the show is amazing!! My favourite moments from Season 2 were Dean smashing the Impala (Jensen's acting was amazing), the introduction of Gordon and the episode "Everybody Loves A Clown".

Ahh...the ultimate question of which season do we like best...

Honestly, I like all of them. What's not to like?
But if I had to choose, i'd say season 3.
The intensity and tension has been built up so much from the first to seasons and has come to the point where you camn cut it with a knife in this season.
With Dean's time almost ending and Sam's possibilty of going to the dark side, you can't help but to watch each and every episode just to get every piece of clue that we can (eg: Dean only having 2 months in Ghostfacers and the hint that Sam still has his powers).
And the addition of Ruby and Bela. Although I still don't think that they should be catagorized under main characters, but these two characters bring variety to the show. Of course bringing Bobby (Jim Beaver) as a recurring character is a great thing to do since he helps the boys so much with the vast knowledge that he has in his head.
Finally, Jensen and Jared. They are so comfortable with their characters that they easily make us believe that they are Dean and Sam. Jared, who wasn't really as good in season 1, has improved so much over the seasons he is fun to watch in episode because you wouldn't know how good he actually is. Like in 'Bad Day At Black Rock' he managed to pull off comedy perfectly, we're left wondering why doesn't he do more of that.

So I think i'll leave it here because, I need to answer those trivias!

yay new contest. anyho my favorite season has to be season 1. i didn't even know what the show was about when i bought its 1st season dvd pack. i just loved Jensen so i thought i will check it out. turned out to be the best tv show EVERRR!!!
i absolutely loved the relaxed and carefree feel of this season. it was about the brothers on a road trip hunting down evil things. they showed some awesome urban legends too like the bloody mary and vampire etc.
i also love this season because this is were the bonding between the brothers began and grow up to be just amazing.

p.s i love all 3 seasons but season 1 just a tinny bit more.

I've never given a thought to which was my favourite season before. I've happily followed Sam and Dean throughout all their travels, and even if the occasional episode didn't fully engage me, there were still memorable moments to be found.

If I were forced to pick... maybe season 1. It was a little less complicated back then with only three goals... find Dad, kill as many evil sons of bitches as possible, and find the demon that killed Jess and their mother. Of course I'll probably change my mind the moment I post this message.

Default I Love Supernatural!!!!!

I love Supernatural so it is incredibly difficult for me to pick a favourite season, but if I absolutely, positively, do-or-die situation HAD TO choose then I would say Season Two has so far been my favourite season. Oh gosh, now you want a reason for my decision?
Ok, after much deliberation my reasoning is this - the relationship between the two brothers went up to a whole other level with Season Two and you got a glimpse at more sides to these two wonderful characters. For example, we saw how Dean dealt with their father's death (or at times, how he didn't deal with his grief), a possible scenario for Sam going darkside was thrown in there and boy, Jared was scarily good as possessed Sam. It also gave us so many brilliant episodes, Tall Tales, Nightshifter to name a few. The finale of course was heartstopping (seriously, I think my heart did actually stop when Sam died in Dean's arms - DO NOT DO THAT TO ME AGAIN!!!) and What Is And What Should Never Be, for crying out loud give Jensen an Emmy or something for that episode, he totally knocked that one out of the park with his superb performance - WOW!!!
Thank you to everyone at Supernatural for producing such an incredible show and thank you also to BuddyTV for all of the support that you lend to the show - it is so good to see and Supernatural deserves the recognition!
Good luck to everyone in the competition!

Gosh this is hard. I love all the seasons for different reasons but....

I guess I'll go with season 2. I loved how we got to learn so much more about the characters. We got to see their vulnerable sides and get inside their heads more in this season. The death of Papa Winchester traumatized me for life but watching Dean go down that path after was incredible. Jensen really blew me away with is emotional scenes. I thought the episodes were top notch. Plus we learned more about the YED and actually got to watch him get what he deserves while learning more about Sam's destiny. The season finale was amazing!! Plus this season had my favorite episode of Supernatural ever in it - What is and What Should Never Be - simply perfect!!

My favorite season of Supernatural so far has been 3.The storyline of the season is one unlike any other, the first was find Dad and kill the demon, the second was kill the demon and stop Sam from going Darkside. Both were excellent in their own ways, and I loved them dearly.Season 3 however brings on a whole new ball game, Dean's deal is a thing that is killing both the brothers, and seeing it progress has been such a thrill. In the first half of the season we see Dean being himself, ignoring the problem and ignoring it with humor and trying to enjoy his last year, while Sam is desperate to save his brother and showing it.Both the characters have developed so much over this season, we've seen them go through the biggest changes ever with Dean becoming more desperate, having a soft side, thinking twice and being so un-Dean like.Sam,however,is the opposite and even told us he is becoming more like the prior Dean, shoot first ask questions later,be less moral, fight the fight and have no regrets. The fans are either loving this or hating it, but either way it has been the most fun of all Supernatural seasons so far.The one episode that made this season the BEST for me was Mystery Spot, one of the most well written and acted episode in the history of Supernatural. The viewer goes through every emotion in this episode, we experience every ounce of pain Sam feels when Dean dies,we laughed when it starting getting ridiculous,we were angry when the Trickster sent Sam back, only for his brother to die for real. The end,in which Sam is so desperate he almost falls to his knees in tears begging for his brother to come back,we were right there with him crying our hearts out.The last scene, one of two hugs in 58 episodes made our hearts leap with joy, only for that last look back at the beds for us to realize, wait, that IS going to happen, and no second chance will be around to save us.The acting in this episode blew me away, the writing was so well done,it just couldn't be beat. And almost every episode this season has been close to this,The Kids Are ALright with us seeing a peak into a life Dean would love to have,Dream a Little Dream of me with us finding the truth about Bobby,Ghostfacers and its off the beaten path way that had us laughing and cringing all in one. Each episode has been much more different then prior seasons, and i'm loving every minute of it,even though it was shortened it has been by far the most well written, well acted and biggest emotional rollercoaster of them all.The best part of it all though, the big looming terror of Dean's deal waiting around the corner, two more episodes and we are going to be left with something amazing, something great and in Kripkes owns words "One massive bitch of a cliffhanger".I've never been so excited in my life, and for that and other various reasons is why season three of Supernatural is my favorite so far.

Wow, thats really tricky.

The first season got me hooked with Supernatural and I watched the episodes non-stop in the summer break. -> So I really like this season.

The second season started with a bang and everything got darker and more serious, but the episodes had a lot of action and drama. (And I watched the episodes non-stop in the summer break - yeah, I know... I'm a SPN freak) -> So I really like this season, too.

Well, the third season started with the deal. Yellow eyes is dead and the dynamics changed. Sam gets darker and Dean gets in touch with his feelings. Then the strike hits and I am off to re-watch the new episodes again
Now: New episodes!! -> And so far: I really like this season.

You see, no easy question!
But if I must make a decision, I would choose the second season!! (So there!)

Since I have to choose now. I would go with season 2. The storyline was wonderful. The show really stretched its legs in season 2 and got very emotional. I do think however, that had season 3 been given it's full 22 episode run It would be my favorite ,but we had just gotten to the good meaty part of the show and the strike happened . Now the rest has to b rushed to fit into the 4 episodes they were given to end the season . It's still great and the last two episodes might make me change my mind. You never know
