Lets see 10 shows of all time. In no particular order.

1) Smallville - I am ap erson who enjoys Superman and it's neat to see a superhero show that the hero is not seen in his costume and when he experiences a new power/abilty its not a smooth process.
2) Twilight Zone - A show that shows that life can have unexpected turs and that if you were to get what you want the results might not be what you wanted.
3) Babylon 5 - A quality show that shows if you are clever and stay with the same person who created the show that you can have a quality show that people will enjoy.
4) Quantum Leap - How every person and everything can effect other things in ways one might not be able to predeict.
5) West Wing - Even though I do not live in the USA how I suspect politics work and includes some many people and personalities to make things go that way.
6) 2 and a half men- Whats a list without at least comedy cause sometimes you just need to laugh.
7) X Files - I enjoyed the unexplained growing up and this show made it fun to see unexplained things in a non written for.
M*A*S*H - A show that showed war at times could be harsh but also it could bring people together.
9) Sliders - A visual kind of what if this thing happenned this way.
10) Tonight Show with Jay Leno - A show hosted by a guy who does not appease to cheap gimmicks and some questions I would ask some celebs if I ever had a chance plus a host I think if I sat down next to him in a bar he would talk with me and buy me a drink.

I should state this is a fun one but I think to make it challenging you should of asked people to explain their answers.

Freeway!!!! That's the dogs name!! Freeway!!! What a daft name for a dog!!!!

Hey! you nearly all... have put SPN up near the top of your lists!!!! Whoo Hoo to you all!!!

AKalel... I agree... I haven't heard of a few of the shows mentioned in some of these lists... it would be nice for some explanation about them!!!

AKalel.. I never really got "2 and a half men''.... It just didn't work for me... it was a bit like the 'comedy spin off..... Joey'!!! Now that was something, IMO, that should never ever have seen the light of day!

Joshjb
I agree... House, The Cosby Show and Frazier/Cheers are all funny and great in their own way!!! You being such a Friends fan... how did you like the follow up spin off Joey???

For those in the know.... is the USA's version of 'The Office' as funny as the UK's version??? Cause that was real cringeworthily funny for the most part!!! David Brent was just unbelievable as the smarmy boss from Hell!!!

Okay my top 10 are

1. Supernatural
For obvious reasons - the boys - but also because it is a well written, well acted, well directed all around amazing show. the effort that is put into this show on the tiny budget that the stupid CW gives them is amazing and it pains me on what little recognition it gets

2. BattleStar Galactica
I sat and watched all 3 seasons in about 2 weeks, i started to watch via a friends advice and i couldn't stop, it was so addicting and the 3rd season had such a cliffhanger. I love Starbucks sass and Apollo's charisma, and everybody else. The Cylon's are creepy as hell!

3. Veronica Mars
Because Kristen Bell is my idol! I love her she is the cutest, sexiest smartass ever on TV!

4. Gilmore Girls
I watched this with my mom it was a way for us to bond and to stop arguing with each other.

5. Firefly
This was a genious idea and i am so glad that it is gone! I love you Nathon Fillion!

6. Andromeda
Two word - Steve Basis.....

7. Xena
Ah yes this was actually a great show...until they turned the characters into lesbos.....

8. Hercules
I just love corney stuff, and Micheal Hurst, and Bruce Campbell

9. Robot Chicken
They have the best sense of humor ever!

10. Heroes
The first season was just so well thought out i loved it and couldn't wait till the next episode
