| Disco may be dead but the funky decade full of polyester and eight tracks lives on when That ‘70s Show Season 8 boogies its way onto DVD April 1 from Fox Home Entertainment and Carsey-Werner. Following the departure of both Eric and Kelso, the fun-loving friends of Point Place, Wisconsin are forced to recognize times are a-changing. Hyde returns from Chicago a married man while Jackie and Fez explore their relationship and move in together. Donna starts a new relationship and Jackie lands a job at a television station as an assistant to a psycho boss. The whole gang manages to reunite for a final bittersweet farewell to the decade that has brought such hysterical hijinx and overall mayhem. BuddyTV has five copies of this eighth season of That '70s Show to give away. Here's how you can win a copy: Simply reply to this thread with you answer to the question: "Which fashion trend from the 1970s would you like to bring back and why?" You are more than welcome to include pictures in your reply. You have until Tuesday, April 8 at noon ET to reply. At that time, the thread will be closed, and the person with the best answer will win a copy, along with four other winners who will be chosen randomly. Best of luck to everyone! ![]()

| I would bring back the Plaid Stallions because I would look like the coolest guy in town. Now if only I could grow facial hair. http://www.plaidstallions.com/fashion.html

| Platform shoes!!! I'm taking the real deals here, not the high-heeled things party girls wear today. The psychotic-ly tall sneakers with the bright colors! I had a pair of blue and white ones when I was in Grade 7 and darn it I loved those things. Four inches of rubber to carry about but I was the tallest kid in my class and by the end of the week every other teenage girl had a pair in either bue/white or white/gray. I may still have the scars from tripping over my feet in those shoes but it was worth it, even if it was just for that year. I loved them so much I even bought a pair of winter platforms to fight the snow drifts when everyone else was wearing Uggs or them freaky furry contraptions. See?! They're good against snow, being vertically challenged and if you have a pair of pants that are too long and you can't hem to save your life. No more of your parents grumbling about the raggedly ends of your pants!! Here's a pic that comes pretty darn close to my old sneakers: ![]() |

| I'd bring back the large hair-dos. Nothing says manly like Ponch's helmet head from Chips. |

| I'd bring back Polyester, and it would probably be pretty easy since I'm sure the stuff is indestructible and must be lying around somewhere. |

| To be quite honest I don't believe it's the fashion that needs to come back, it's the music. The music of the seventies is just amazing. But if I were to actually think about it... It's got to be the platform shoes. Nothing can beat platform shoes...

| Member | i would have to agree with theoriginalsammy. there really isnt any trends that i would want to bring back but those platform shoes are AWESOME!! when i was about 8, me and my family went to Disney World (i think thats the one in Florida??). back then i was REALLY REALLY short! i love rolercoasters.. actually im obsessed with rollercoasters but i wasnt tall enough to go on any of the upside-down rollercoasters and i was so mad and sad that i cried till whent to the store and bought a pair of the platform sneakers to make me taller. it put about 2 feet on my hight!!! they were the BEST! i was so happy when we we went back to the park and i got to go on all the awesome rides!!! i loved those shoes soooo much! i dont think i would want to where a pair now though, cause i would be about 6'6''!!! but they were awesome, the greatest pair of shoes i have ever owned!!! |

| I would choose the old plain striped t-shirts that had no logos.Lol. They look better and feel more comfortable than the ones of today that have Nike or something printed all of them. |

| Moderator ![]() | Tye Dye!!!! Who doesn't love a good tye dyed shirt (gezz..just saying that makes me feel old). Oh, and mood rings, those used to facinate me to no end when I was a kid.My mom had a bunch in different styles and I would put them on all my fingers (none of them actually fit), I thought I was the coolest kid around in those.
